Whether Paxton wins the senate race or not, I'll be writing my current senator John Cornyn to express my disgust with his recent stances on the election, and his long-recognized treachery toward his Party.
They say you should keep such letters polite and to a specific point. How firm should this rule be on an outgoing senator like Cornyn?
My rage toward him is bottomless.

Tell hiim it was this same behavior that he was voted out by people such as yourself. Tell him that you hopes he exerieces the wrath of the same left radicales he stood with with against Trump.
End be sayying no one will regret that he was removed from office, because he never stood with the people who repeatdlt put him there, but acted at all times to satisfy his ego whiole eriching himself. That he ends up a broke and disgraced man, and that his family suffers along with him, as other families, including this who kept returning him to the Senate has sffered by his inexcusable bahvior that resembles those of exhibited the sane infatile nonsense because they did not like Trump, and refused to help Trump accomplish goals, that were goals that we suppoorted and had expected you to support because of our returning you to the Seante over & over, only for you to ignore our wishes. Normally I would wish you a blessed life, but I find myself unable to do so, sio I won't. What I will do is say a prayer for you when you do fall from grace, that you can find redemption for the sins you have commited against those who supported you for far too long.
A very long time ago, Ronald Reagan took on GHW Bush as his VP candidate after trouncing GHW Bush in the GOP primary. The party leaders convinced Reagan to take Bush in order to “heal” the party. Reagan did what he should not have done. He would have trounced Carter, even if the Bush coalition had swung to Carter.
So it began. Soon Reagan was shot and soon after Iran - Contra occurred and you can bet your last dollar GHW Bush made sure it happened.
I could go on but this is what the Bush family has done for a very long time. Cornyn follows them for the crumbs they leave behind and like them, will support a democrat when the GOP does not do what he wants.

30 years from now, no one will remember his name. Maybe encourage him to refocus onto the priorities and things which are important in this phase of life. Get right with God or whoever you have faith with.
I was in attendance at the 2022 Texas State Republican Convention in Houston when John Cornyn was all but booed off the stage for his support of Biden’s gun control legislation. He should have taken a hint that he would have difficulty winning the next GOP primary in 2026.
The best outcome would have been for Cornyn to retire and allow for a competitive GOP primary in 2026, which would have produced a quality nominee. Instead, he stubbornly hung on, which provided Paxton an opening. Paxton has a core set of supporters, but not much general election appeal. He may squeak out a win simply because Talarico’s stands on issues are so abhorrent to a majority of Texans. I voted for Paxton, but I am no fan of his seedy character traits.
I wouldn’t waste my time with a letter. His staff will read it, he’ll never see it and you’ll get a canned response.
Go to his office in person..none of them give shxt unless you confront them and have someone film it.
