We got a perfect example of the biter-gets-bit scenario late this week featuring the larger-than-life crusader against fascism Elissa Sllotkin. We’re told that Slotnick served as an analyst for the CIA, which means that this case is a twofer, informing us what’s wrong with the Senate today and what's been wrong with the CIA for the past twenty years.
Slotkin, as readers will know, made the news earlier this week with the release of a clip showing her at some sort of University of Chicago conclave threatening legal persecution for young people who took jobs in the Trump administration: "I want young people coming out of school to say, 'Should I work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity… I want them to be like, 'Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want.' I want that deterrence message sent."
A few days later, in the face of a massive backlash, she doubled down on the threat and attempted to flip it into an accusation of Trump. “Fear is the point. Intimidation is the point. And if the President can do this to me, he can do it to anyone.”
It happens that U of Chicago undergrad Michael Bicksel was present for Slotkin’s remarks. He took them as a personal threat. “I don’t think there’s any other way to take it.” In response, he filed a complaint with the Senate Select Committee on Ethics.
“Senator Slotkin proposed a course of legislative action to weaponize the legal system in order to terrorize college students into forgoing public service,” Bicksel told the committee.
He noted that the discussion went on to suggestions that “Young people who want to serve the Trump administration be made pariahs, socially, politically, and even legally.”

This should be in campaign ads before the midterms. They should be on the air now because early voting has started.
Elissa is getting too big for her britches.
She’s a Democrat, nothing will happen. Yes, if this was republican all hell would break loose. The media would run the story 24/7. Every other republican in public office would have to comment and disavow, and someone might get censured. There would be calls for removal. But she’s a Democrat, so it’s all good.
Democrats should be getting pink slips nationwide. They can’t be trusted.
A better way of addressing Slotkin is on how pathetic she sounds when speaking without a script. Go to 32:03 for the question, and her, um, answer, um, starts at 32:08: https://youtu.be/vrOaYchwJ4w.
If you do a shot every time she says “um” you’ll be hammered in a few mins.
You’ll also notice there are no “ums” when she speaks of going full Stasi. Methinks this is a Focus Group approved message.
was set for that in the first term. It feels like if you don’t get impeached for January 6, like what does the word mean?
32:08 Yeah. I will say um because I still see him on the floor um if Mitch McConnell had done the right thing, then Donald Trump would have been impeached after
32:16 January 6th and he did not. and his legacy along with his health issues will be how he is remembered
32:22 um and should be. But um but um i am into effectiveness and um if we have the
32:30 House but not the Senate, you know, I don’t have a ton of faith that my Republican colleagues are going to have any more strength. So that’s what I’m saying. I want to look at these
32:38 signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him. I want young people coming
32:45 out of school to say, “Should I go work for the Trump administration?” Like, “That sounds fun. I might get an opportunity.” I want them to be like,
32:51 “Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want. And so, let me avoid participating in that. I
33:00 want that deterrence message sent.”
Slotkin and Ilhan Omar would make great cell mates - preferably in Gitmo.
Even if she weren’t pushing the weaponization of the legal system against political opponents, she disqualified herself IMO by not understanding the Constitution. She implied that it was wrong to not impeach Trump after Jan 6. But Trump WAS impeached; he just wasn’t convicted. How can someone who doesn’t even understand what impeachment means be part of the body that is designated to decide impeachment cases?
A true Brown Shirt...
From THOT to TNaziOT......
Democrats have a history of weaponizing the legal system, don't they?
From https://www.cato.org/commentary/obamas-weaponized-justice-department
In parallel with its expansion of the “responsible corporate officer” doctrine, the Justice Department engaged in Operation Choke Point — a coordinated effort to nudge banks and financial-service providers that do business with industries disfavored by the administration (such as short-term lenders, firearms dealers, and online gambling) into blacklisting such companies, by threatening investigation. The operation ended this year with a settlement in the targeted businesses’ favor.
Communist state type pressure continued through the Biden regime's use of threats of debanking as reported at https://www.heritage.org/government-regulation/commentary/the-debanking-scandal-started-washington-not-wall-street
"This Department will not tolerate a two-tiered system of justice," Blanche said in a statement announcing the report. "No Department should conduct selective prosecution based on beliefs. The weaponization that happened under the Biden Administration will not happen again, as we restore integrity to our prosecutorial system."
Talk about what goes around...
After the threat was exposed she flipped the script to be the victim instead of the bully. How do they keep getting away with it? SMH 🤦🏼
