To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad:

Do not blame the French people for this.

We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no.

Here are the numbers your media won't show you.

70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today.
79% want a tougher immigration policy.
77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration.
83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home.
And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years.
This is not a fringe. This is the French people.
In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.

That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.

So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.

In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders.

It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed.

What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it.

The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did.

So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this."

The French never chose this.

They were forced into it.

If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us.

If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd. https://x.com/MisterKraKra/s

Summing up modern France in one sentence: “The people say no. The elites do it anyway.” Sounds awfully familiar.

LOL - yeah, I thought you might recognize that one Liz.

That would require logic and accountability.

thus, the fault is with the French voters ... period ... they keep getting the government they voted for, good and hard ...

~~~
It could be that they have similar dynamics with rabid single issue voters there like we have here. Just speculating, as I am not familiar with their politics, but it occurs to me that there are a lot of suburban women who have zero understanding of what kind of world the communists and islamists would create for them, and when you try to tell them about it, they will dismissively call you crazy. The uterus is all that matters.
Perhaps what is happening now in France is a wake-up call, and if they could vote right now, they would vote differently, because they were convinced that if they placate enough, and acquiesce enough, and try very hard to be warm and understanding, that things will all just magically work out. But perhaps not. Denial and dissociation are powerful defense mechanisms.
You may be right. My experience is with rural and suburban Westmoreland and Fayette counties near where I grew up and still have extended family.
"You voted for politicians who promised you a life on Easy Street. This is the inevitable result."
Exactly. What did they think taking the whole month of August off and 32 hour workweeks would get them? Then the post WW II ennui and fatalism brought on a way-below-replacement rate. The French were lazy, wanted Easy Street, and stopped having babies, so the pols imported workers. With nary a thought to compatibility, religion, whether those "migrants" would assimilate and become French.
Maybe it's time to consult Vlad...
They need to MEANS TEST SS payments. I do not need it.
Not sure if that'll work.
Why have kids if Social Security is always going to be around?
Like I said earlier, we don't want to be like Britain or France.
But we're heading down that path.
Except that we are behind 20 years.
I also know for a fact that at least 40-45% of US citizens love them some leftist policies like welfare and the like.
This is the Horrible Truth(tm) that we have to deal with.
They do like it and will like it until they are slapped in the face by the reality that French citizens are being slapped by.
Leftists will hold steadfast to their professed beliefs regardless of how badly things turn out for them. Unpleasant consequences will always be blamed on "Wreckers", "Obstructionists" and "Denialists".
It's all the fault of those icky Republicans, you see. It's always somebody else's fault.
Leftists will keep doing what they do until they cannot do it anymore. Most of them must be forced out of their positions; they aren't going to leave them voluntarily.
We might still be able to do some of that with elections. If it works, that would be a lot less trouble than a civil war.
Why?
Well, then, they all lost their country years ago and they should just enjoy what they now have, or rise up and fight.
This stupid complaining, when you think they've been totally overtaken for many years, is crazy. Live with it and stop your complaining Frenchies. It's too late and you won't care to do anything about it. The Muslims care 10,000% more about their stuff than you natives ever did. You all just wanted empty promises of three-day work weeks, and didn't care that your vote did nothing.
You all created the monster, many years ago, according to Chickensoup.
“we’re heading down that path”
We don’t have to be. Meaning, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea do not allow immigration at all.
Our government can offer larger incentives to have more children.
Plus, the USA is still by far the country that ALL immigrants want to come to. So, we can CHOOSE who we decide to let in. Like South African farmers.
Yes, we do NEED people that are willing to do some menial labor jobs. Although ROBOTS will be able to do a lot of those jobs in the next ten/twenty years. So, what we continue to need is STEM graduates. We need more engineers and less landscapers. IRobot will be able to mow your lawn cheaper than Jose on a Scag.
The real issue is that the Republicans/GOPe and owners of the big IT companies want the STEM graduates from India to do a job for less than a US grad in the same stem program.
The Dems want the people to come in and stay on welfare. To keep voting for free stuff. They need to keep bringing in this underclass because many of those people are NOT lazy. Many are willing to work two jobs to get ahead. Generally, most Catholic Hispanics are the hard workers.
Somali tribal/culture members that know how to cheat the system are not. What is interesting is that the other African immigrants I have personally met are much more industrious and extremely glad to be here. They are grateful for the opportunity to become Americans. Of course, almost non of them Muslim. Most of them are Catholic or Christian.
The only Muslim I know who I think is a great guy is a waiter at my favorite Italian restaurant. He is in his sixties. However, he was a refugee from Bosnia. He also has a son who works at the restaurant as the host.
I also know a man who came here from Jordan. He lives in MA, but owns the gas station in the town next door in NH. He worked three jobs when he came here around 50 years old.
He is now 61. Eventually buying one of the gas stations he worked at. Then eventually buying the one near me. He and his two sons are there everyday. From 6am to 8pm. 12 hours a day/7 days a week. He also rents out the two garage bays to a local mechanic.
So, the ONLY immigrants I personally come in contact with are IMHO the type of people we want to come to America.
