President Trump said Friday he had granted approval for “tiny cars” to be built in the United States, a move that would expand the availability of similar smaller vehicles that are popular in Asia.
“I have just approved TINY CARS to be built in America. Manufacturers have long wanted to do this, just like they are so successfully built in other countries,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “They can be propelled by gasoline, electric, or hybrid.

“They’re cheap”
They are for a while until the dealers can call having one on the lot a rarity. Then getting one will be much more expensive. Walked through many car dealerships lots latgely. They don’t have near as many vdhicloes on the yard. That costs them money to handle half a family.
Also, they are very limited by size in what they can do. New tiny cars (often called Kei cars or micro-vehicles) cannot carry a lot of weight or bulky cargo compared to standard U.S. vehicles. And like I mentioned, they are a “harder” ride and very confining for a large person. It’s a matter if cost over rides conveinence with the buyer. I’m a little older and I don’t want to strap myself to a rocket like wiley coyote.
