Everybody knows what the last weeks of a political campaign are like: phones ringing constantly, chaotic activity, exhausting twenty-hour days, racing from one rally or speech to the next. An all-out, pedal-to-the-metal effort by all hands.
So why, with the first plausible chance at snagging a Texas Senate seat for the Democrats in a generation at risk, has James Talarico ceased campaigning at all?
It’s going on two weeks since Talarico dropped out of sight. His last public appearance was 13 days ago during fundraising trips to LA and New York City. The last confirmed sighting was on September 26 at a Panthers football game. He hasn’t been seen in public since.
Social media speculation has been rife, not to say wild-eyed: Talarico had a breakdown and is recovering in a Houston clinic. He has entered rehab. He is suffering from AIDs.
According to the astute political observer Donald Trump: “He’s a vegan… He’s sick because he’s been forced to eat meat for political reasons, and he’s throwing up all over the place.”
The Talarico campaign has released a statement claiming that he is suffering from the flu. The response was immediate. Benny Johnson wanted to know how long it takes to recover from flu. And even with a bad case, you can still film a two-minute video clip for release on TikTok.
Clay Travis concluded: “Talarico’s vanishing from the campaign trail makes zero sense. Something is up. This isn’t the flu.”
Blaze Media firebrand Sara Gonzalez says that she has “…received unverified information on James Talarico’s whereabouts. If true, it will END his campaign.” She also asked “…anyone who can verify where James Talarico has been” to contact her.

Suggests the steal has been cemented and he doesn’t feel the need to campaign any more than sleepy Joe did.
My guess is that he is having some sort of mental affliction. After all, aren’t most democrats suffering from some sort of mental illness.
Rather than aliens, perhaps the men in white coats have taken Talafreako back to the loony bin from which he escaped.
Even when Biden was running his basement campaign, he frequently made TV appearances for friendly media. Nothing but silence from Talarico. He is not duplicating the Biden strategy.
This could be the Disclosure we have been promised...

Oh I see him. Every single day on YouTube. Every commercial is him asking for money. Every single one.
Campaign trick? Getting lots of free publicity on this.
Maybe no one is looking for the scumbag or there is a warrant out for his arrest.
There was a gal that worked at the USPS MPO that I worked at for about 8. 1/2 years, before the whole kitten caboodle of us got shipped to a much larger MPO just outside a larger city.
She was a huge believer in aliens, life on other planets, even bigger sci-fi movie and book fan, etc.
Several of us used to joke *privately* that if she were ever sucked up into some spaceship some insanely early morning after shift, wouldn’t be ten minutes before the ship returned and chunked her unceremoniously out on her tail.
Too weird even for them. Not a good lab rat candidate.
Same woman who tried to run me down and kill me in the parking lot because I apparently talked and joked too much with a guy she apparently was madly in love with. Or whatever.
She actually ended up marrying some extreme lefty smart*** and their biggest excursions about were to festivals where they came back with shirts exclaiming “Keep Austin Weird”.
Well, I would imagine they did their due contribution.
Somewhere yesterday claims of the flu began to appear. Two weeks? Maybe it’s the double dose bird flu? Or someone advised him to do the biden campaign plan. Probably better for him/her/them/they to not speak. Please get out the vote. They appear energized.......
