Newly unsealed police bodycam footage shows the aftermath of the 2023 Richneck Elementary School shooting in Newport News, Virginia, where a 6-year-old student shot his first-grade teacher.
Officers enter the classroom and secure the handgun before taking the child into custody. During the encounter, the 6-year-old repeatedly curses at officers and a teacher, challenges them, and tells police that he stole the gun from his mother.
The bodycam footage was later unsealed by a Virginia court after media organizations challenged the decision to keep it sealed. The child's face and identifying information have been blurred in accordance with the court's order.

I watched the video. The teacher/aide telling him that his language is inappropriate for the classroom after he shot someone is telling.

Cudos to that teacher, she was holding down a Tasmanian Devil. I for one was hoping the kid would break loose of her hold and the cops would have to body slam the brat to the ground. His little fowl mouth would shut up and we would see the biggest crybaby ever.
More than likely the kid was put in a juvy nervous hospital. I hope he’s there for decades.
When I was that age we didn’t have that problem, either.

Probably didn’t raise him at all. That kid learned that language and behavior from someone over an extended period of time. .............
I was emotionally abused at home by my mother who apparently hated me. It was a great relief to get to school and be with pleasant teachers and nice classmates.
But was a girl. Maybe little boys have worse role models.
Glad she went to jail. Would have beein if she were White.
