"Death rates among young Americans have surged dramatically, with the mortality rate for adults aged 25 to 44 jumping 71.2% between 2010 and 2021, the largest increase of any age group. This rise is driven by a combination of external causes, such as drug overdose, and early-onset diseases."

Previous death rate - 1.4 deaths per 1,000.
New death rate - 2.4 deaths per 1,000.
Total death increase - 1.0 deaths per 1,000.
Also known as 0.1%.
Also known as - One tenth of one percent.
At least this means that there is plenty of room at the gym for the rest of us.
It is without a doubt expected too. With the lack of concern about the growing drug use at all levels of society it i not suprising. But if they had taken it a little furtherthey would have noticed trends better to include the covid era.
U.S. Age-Adjusted Death Rates per 100,000 Population
• 2019 (Pre-pandemic): 715.3 per 100,000
• 2020: 835.4 per 100,000 (sharp increase due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic)
• 2021: 879.7 per 100,000 (the peak year for U.S. mortality during the pandemic)
• 2022: 798.8 per 100,000 (meaningful decrease as severe acute waves subsided)
• 2023: 750.5 per 100,000
• 2024: 722.1 per 100,000 (returning close to 2019 baseline levels)
• 2025: 689.2 per 100,000 (provisional data showing continued decline
Article failed to display this and that a msjority of it was during the Biden years.

The article does not support the contention that there is a linkage between the aftereffects of the COVID shots and increased death rates in the 25 to 44 year old age group. Drug overdoses, suicides, and car crashes cannot be attributed to any effects of the shots. These trends well predated 2020 when the COVID outbreak began. The increases are probably the effects of cultural degeneracy and the side effects of antidepressant and similar pharmaceuticals.
I’d say all.
Well
I’m convinced!

Are You a Welder?
Here is the actual research paper. Not that the posted article was mis-representing the findings…just always good to go to the “source.”
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/1468-0009.70118
“Young adults (ages 25–44) experienced the largest relative increases in all-cause mortality of any age group, including a 71.2% increase between 2010 and 2021, driven by deaths from external causes, notably drug overdoses, and early-onset diseases (e.g., hypertensive disease, endocrine and metabolic disorders, alcoholic liver disease).”

Most of this sounds “environmental.”. When kids are sedentary, eat crap, and do drugs…bad things happen. Toss in an increased suicide rate and it thins the herd pretty quickly.
When I was fat, everything was skin tight…hence, “skinny jeans.” LOL. I always thought those looked silly on men.
Now that I am the appropriate weight…the style is going back to wide leg trousers. Go figure.
Come on, the cargo cult doesn’t need “evidence”!
Rumor and innuendo followed by hysterical outrage are all you need.
I am aware of other studies that show correlation between the COVID shots and increases in mortality in all age groups. However, this particular article does not support any correlation.
I with you on that. I recently ordered some custom suits, and I had to argue with the tailor about the fit. He wanted them to be in the skinny style, and I kept insisting that I wanted a traditional fit with cuffs. I finally had to give him exact measurements for the sleeves, thighs, and ankle and he still did believe that I understood what I wanted.
A reliable source of false information.
Yes - just the latest many examples of the Time Traveling Vaccine.
There was a data set taken from 1990-2019 used for a long series of articles posted here blaming the findings on the vaccine. Those who pointed out those years were all from prior to the vaccine were attacked as deep state propagandists and the like.
.
Correct. Which is exactly what you just did. Most of 2020-2021 was pre-vaccine as well. And even aside from that, your math is not possible.
Quit using drugs and you won’t die from an overdose.
I hate drugs with a passion. I never used them and I hate the impact they have on people. I hate the addiction.
I really wish people would choose to use a different form of escapism than dangerous recreational drugs. You can’t make people stop. It is not wonder so many die from overdose.
I’ll second that.
