Then the bigwigs that own the refineries should state all this publicity and call out the politicians responsible.
They don’t care, they make record profits with a restricted supply. They don’t want to increase supply. The have an irreplaceable product that people must buy regardless of the price.
Correct.
I got so thoroughly sick of watching utility execs and boards suck up to the green lobby that I couldn’t take it any more. I knew they would not change, so I got out of the industry. For decades I thought I was in a great industry providing a vital product (electricity) that everybody needed and was bettering the country. I finally woke up to the reality that they would NEVER push back on the forces set out to destroy them. Just like the moslem invasion — politicians in western countries will not push back against those bent on destroying us.
Don’t discount the fact that they have to mollify leftist governments and cannot tell the truth without risking destruction.
PG&E in Commiefornia proved this when they went bankrupt after fire lawsuits. In court the company finally told the world that wind and solar cost 3 times as much as gas so when forced to install it without raising rates the only thing they could do was cut back on maintenance. When asked why they didn’t make this known to rate payers the answer was they were afraid to anger their regulators.
