President Donald Trump, probably more than any politician in recent memory, understands that the United States must be energy dominant with constant access to abundant, affordable, and reliable energy for myriad reasons.
President Trump also understands that the only surefire way to ensure that the United States has uninterrupted ample energy on hand is by going all in on the only energy sources that can supply dependable power no matter the weather conditions or time of day.
Under present circumstances, based on a recent Heartland Institute energy scorecard, “natural gas makes the most sense according to the affordable, reliable, and clean standard, with nuclear, hydro, and coal not far behind. Biomass trails by a moderate margin while wind and solar stand apart as the least desirable power sources.”
The revelation that fossil fuels and nuclear get the best energy bang for the buck should not be a surprise. Neither should the fact that wind and solar are far less reliable, more costly, and much worse for the environment.
Despite these fundamental flaws, climate alarmists have touted the Green New Deal as climate change panacea for the past several years.
In 2019, Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) introduced the Green New Deal (GND) resolution into both houses of Congress, claiming it would address “the existential crisis of climate change.”
In the years since the GND made its debut in Congress, climate alarmism has waned considerably as Americans have come to the realization that the planet’s climate has always changed and will always change. Whereas most Americans falsely believed that the use of fossil fuels would usher in the end of the world, now most Americans know otherwise.

The issue was never carbon dioxide. The issue was always finding an excuse to control the means of production.
Winner—the key phrase.
Head of the class—yoy’ve been paying attention.
The trick is going to be making any lasting change. The jaw jackers will always be with us.
The main issue really was not CO2, but it seems like many fell for that. Must have failed high school science to think that CO2 was ever a real concern.
And to control the populace, along with more taxes of course.
We use solar power in a very effective way: farming. That solar energy literally powers our bones. The Carbon in those plants are 97% pulled from the air itself. Guess that goes against the narrative however .
Don’t we still pay a CO2 tax to fly?
People living in mansions will tax the People into living in the dark, in a cave, and wearing animal skins - with a smart-phone to tell them what to think.
