Alabama U.S. senator and gubernatorial candidate Tommy Tuberville said in remarks on the Senate floor Tuesday that “serious gender confused mental illness” is on the rise in the U.S. and that is “very, very concerning.”
In a wide-ranging Senate speech where he cited incidents of violence, denounced an agenda that preyed on confused people and suggested more mental hospitals are needed, Tuberville said he rejects the term transgender.

From the beginning of time of humans on this earth, there are two genders, male and female. So, I will call these people what they are: gender confused.”
A Mayo Clinic fact sheet outlines terms like “transgender” and “gender diverse” saying they cover “a range of gender identities and gender expressions.” And, it notes the terms “move past the idea that all people can be classified as only one of two genders — female or male. That idea is called the gender binary.”
Tuberville said it is not an accident that confused people are being encouraged to reconsider their gender, but rather part of a plan to destroy the U.S.
“But over the past several decades, the Democrat-Socialists have been orchestrating a plan to destroy this country by slowly chipping away at the Christian values that have made this country great,” Tuberville said. “And I wanna be clear about this—gender confusion—it is not normal. It is a cry for help, and our society needs to stop affirming people who are suffering from this mental illness.”
Along with denouncing doctors and parents who encourage gender reassignment, and expressing concern about suicide figures, Tuberville said he worries about the “rise in violence coming from people who the Left refers to as transgender.”
In his remarks, Tuberville suggested both the suspected killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the man who shot President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania had contact with the “furry” community, which he described as a gender-confused cult.
The website Fur Science offers a description of furries, stating “Most furries create for themselves an anthropomorphized animal character with whom they identify and can function as an avatar within the community.”
Tuberville also expressed his concern that “furries” could be piloting U.S. airliners.
Tuberville said the furry community touts “that many airline pilots, flight attendants and air traffic controllers are part of the furry community.
“It’s terrifying when you think about this. When you walk on to a commercial flight, it’s possible that the pilot flying your plane could have a deranged fetish of dressing up like an animal.”
Tuberville then suggested the need for more mental hospitals and warned about future acts of violence.
“It is in the best interests of our country to bring back mental institutions as a normal part of our society instead of sweeping it under the rug,” he said. “Otherwise, we’re just sitting ducks until the next gender-confused person decides to show up at our churches or our schools and start committing acts of violence. It’s coming.”
Why not call California a mental institution, put up a border wall and house the entire left there . problem solved.
the violent impulses might be from the hormones and medicines.
SSRI’s are well known to do this, but testosterone is a hormone that increases aggression.

It isn’t. I live in a Liberal Hell Hole in North Carolina, and we see these folks walking the streets every weekend. They usually are not in full costume but wear actual tails coming out of the back of their pants and shorts. We saw a very normal looking family one day walking towards us. mom, dad, walking child and one in a stroller. They walked by us and I notice mom and dad both had those tails hanging out the back of their shorts. Really weird. Looking back, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if she were a flight attendant and he were a pilot. They looked like young professionals. Same folks you see at the soccer and baseball fields.
We need a Devil’s Island. As sad as it might be, there is no effective treatment for this.
I’m all for more mental hospitals, but they must provide mandatory wingsuit lessons.
As a furry, I will have to say must furries are not crazy. To others, maybe we are, but it is a harmless activity. Like other subgroups, you might see crazy people. It is like boaters, some boaters might kill another, so should you call all boaters murderers? No.
Sadly, he just did it again. What he should have said is,
