What the President realized was that his efforts to establish the Abraham Accords and the follow up Negev Summit was purposely thwarted by Iran and their terrorist Hamas army intent on creating the chaos that effectively destroyed his efforts. The peace the President designed and implemented was never going to happen so long as Iran found it to be intolerable.

When Israel and Saudi Arabia came on the verge of truly historic mutual efforts, Iran determined that must never be. Iran released the Hamas dogs on Israel to create the peace ending chaos.

I can tell you from my own experience that most Americans don't give a sh!t about any of that, if they price they must pay is $4.50/gallon gasoline and $7/gallon diesel fuel.

I think you would find that any Hamas links to Iran are loose at best. Hamas' leadership has historically been Sunni, not Shi'ite, which might explain why Israel was so comfortable in allowing outside funding to flow to the "terriorist army" for years.
