All cameras will broadcast information. They use wifi to connect the cameras to the router.
You can implement Privacy Mode and Home Mode to prevent Eufy cameras from transmitting images and sounds. Eufy will still monitor the internet to detect your instructions to turn on or turn off these modes. There are also physical things you can do. Most Eufy cameras have a component that can be rotated to block the camera from seeing things.
