Only ten years? Not even close to being enough. I’d say at least thirty as a start. How many of these criminals released due to her went on to commit more crimes?
On the bright side, ten years is possibly a life sentence at her age.

I agree, but She is 66. She will get out at 76. Given the crappy food and conditions and the fact that she is at the point in her life that her body is probably starting to break down she may die in prison or get out when all her medical problems are more pronounced, they probably look at this as saving the money they would spend on years in hospitals and end of life care. She probably also be a target for the prisoners and who knows how that will end up.
