Lindsay Clancy male holdout juror has history of domestic violence allegations, active restraining order: report

The holdout juror who caused Lindsay Clancy’s mistrial has a history of alleged domestic violence such as grabbing his wife by the throat and punching his nephew, according to a report.

The still-unnamed juror, only described as a black man in his 30s, faced a criminal charge in September 2021 for allegedly assaulting his wife, NBC10 Boston reported.

A 13-year-old nephew of the man called 911, stating that his uncle grabbed his wife by the throat and threw her into a dresser, according to a police report obtained by the outlet.

The juror’s own mom repeatedly screamed, “You’re evil!” as he was cuffed during the incident, the report said.

The juror recently ended up singlehandedly thwarting a verdict in Clancy’s sensational trial by refusing to agree with the 11 other jurors who found her not guilty by reason of temporary insanity after she fatally strangled her three young children in the family’s Duxbury, Mass., home.

A juror questionnaire in Massachusetts asks whether someone has been arrested, charged with a crime, or been served with a court order — all boxes that the holdout juror should have checked.

What the article conveniently omits is almost all those charges were dropped before he went on the jury.

You have to start reading the comments to find out that little nugget of truth.

The logic is that he was held up by the right as a person who stood his ground based on high moral convictions against the mob that wanted a nullification verdict for three brutal child murders.

Because he was held up as a role model for individualism, the LAAP-dog media had to attack him and try to take him out.

It's actually SOP for the media once they target a conservative-leaning person who becomes an emerging role model.

Only the left is allowed to have "influencers." Influencers on the right, like Charlie Kirk, James O'Keefe, Nick Shirley, and now this juror, cannot be allowed to continue - by any means necessary.

Remember when Obama made a campaign stop on some random street to mingle with the plebes during the 2008 election, and he stopped to chat with Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher, and Wurzelbacher's simple question to Obama resulted in his "spread the wealth around" gaffe?

Well, that immediately led to a government administrator with Ohio's Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) illegally accessing his business license records and leaked it to the press.

Wurzelbacher sued over the breach for "emotional distress, harassment, and embarrassment as a result of the search." Naturally, the U.S. District Court in Columbus dismissed the lawsuit on the grounds that the state database search did not amount to a constitutional violation of the right to privacy. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit affirmed the dismissal.

The Ohio administator resigned her position.

Now conduct an enema on all the other jurors to find the skeletons in their closet.

It was a vote for straight up innocent since she won’t be retried and she is innocent until proven guilty.

......The holdout juror who caused Lindsay Clancy’s mistrial has a history of alleged domestic violence such as grabbing his wife by the throat and punching his nephew, according to a report......

If that were true, he should not have been on a jury!

But as of Sept. 2026, STOP attacking and attempting to doxx this juror!!

The Left is out to destroy every institution the West is built upon and that includes a functioning justice system. They want laws built on feelings and straight men are considered guilty and can never be proven innocent.

I hope enough moral, intelligent people will still see jury service as a civic duty. I also hope those attacking jurors get punished...in this lifetime, or next.

“It sounds like Massachusetts does not send its best to the jury box.”

I’m pretty sure this is about as good as it gets in Massachusetts.

Now that I think about it, how did that juror’s DV issues escape voir dire...

Or were both sides doing their damndest to endure a not guilty verdict...

That is what I’m betting.

I’m 66 and I’ve never heard of a juror being harassed like this...not ever....I’m not even sure it’s legal.

That's the only time I encountered that situation where they confronted jurors with their past. Like you, I'm not sure that should be allowed, but the judge didn't say anything.

I'm 76 and I've been in numerous jury pools, though none lately, and selected to serve on one jury in a civil case. In that same jury pool, the defense attorney asked if anyone could vote on a verdict right now if you had to. I was the only member of the 30-member pool to say yes. He asked me how I would vote and I told him, "Not guilty". I was not selected for that jury though I'd bet the defense wanted me, and I've always suspected the prosecution used one of their blocks to block me.

Your jury experience and mine is very similar. Summoned 5 times, sat on one jury for a home burglary that was a slam dunk guilty.

The public defender asked me a couple of questions during voir dire that I answered in a way I was sure would get me kicked off but nooooo.

It really didn’t matter, it was so obvious he should’ve just plead guilty and at the end of the I did my civic duty.

Side note...in my state after age 72 you don’t get summoned anymore. That may be why you haven’t been served.

I'm 76 now but I think I was past 72 the last time I was summoned, so I'd guess 75 is the limit here. I wrote a letter to the judge and asked to be dismissed because of my hearing (I'm about 80% deaf) and I was dismissed.

I actually would've liked to have served on a jury in a criminal case because I know I could be a fair juror.

I've done the other things of citizenship: I vote, served in the military, and served on the jury in a civil case. Serving on the jury in a criminal case would've completed my duty expectations as a citizen, but at least I served on a civil case jury.
