The total explanation of why the Atlantic will not see any landfall hurricane, due to a record El Niño blistering into Northern S America (just one of the reasons is explained and much more. These teevee types are dying for something to drive media ad revenues. Hope for disaster under the maybe chance of something breaking, more likely chance of Oct/nov late impact into New England . Record breaking powerful forces steering in the Atlantic.
Also go to Natl Hurricane Center….nhc.noaa.gov and look at the Pacific. There are 4 full hurricanes there as of 3 days ago . It’s not all water temp that’s certain. Weather wise guys is on WABC NY radio on Sundays iirc for weather heads. Signing off!

Lots of hurricanes = global warming... No hurricanes = global warming... Some hurricanes = global warming... Wind = global warming... Rain = global warming, etc. etc.

I found an insight concerning hurricanes from an article with a map showing 173 individual hurricanes hitting land on the Gulf and Atlantic coasts from 1850 to present. I decided to see if the upward sloping curve caused by warming ocean temperatures I have always heard about from the climate change people would show more extreme weather. Intensity should be related to the number of land falls and assessment of winds. The number of landfalls seems random. In the second 100 years I counted 13 compared to 9 category four or five storms in the first 100. From what I know of statistics, I doubt that is really significant.
