Fox News is parting ways with Maria Bartiromo after more than 12 years with the company. The network announced the move on Thursday afternoon.
What We Know: Bartiromo has anchored multiple programs across Fox News Media, including Mornings with Maria on Fox Business Network. The morning program aired weekdays from 6-9 AM ET. She also hosted Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street on Friday evenings from 7-7:30 PM ET. Meanwhile, her Fox News program Sunday Morning Futures will have a temporary change this weekend. Fox News will have Jason Chaffetz host Sunday Morning Futures this week. The network plans to announce a new permanent host at a later date. Bartiromo’s departure also brings an end to her roles across both Fox News and Fox Business Network. Her tenure included a lengthy run covering markets, business, and politics for the company.

Why bother with Jessica Tarlov when you could have Marlyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard or any number of truly beautiful and talented actors and speakers.

Maria wanted to cover the story and was told by big wigs at fox to stand down and do not cover it.
She was fired because she was going to cover the story. Fox has made a self-inflicted wound that will never go away. I will watch as little of their networks as possible from now on.
You have to wonder now how and why they paid the 787 million and who actually got the money, remember always follow the money. Fox is foreign owned and clearly hates Trump. Problem is their audience on FNC loves Trump. So once again 'follow the money' explains much of what they do.
No telling what or where Maria will show up but you can bet she will be far more popular that she ever was before. Maria Bartiromo was fox business news without her even Sharyl can't revive it.

Evidently she shared internal memos with the White House. That’s a no-no in any business.
Even good people do dumb things from time to time.
I don’t think the punishment fit the crime, but clearly there were other things going on.
It’s too bad because Casone (the fill in host) is horrifying to listen to…she has a nasal/California twang that I can’t stand. I am sure she is a wonderful person…and it sounds petty, but that is the entertainment business for you.
Sharing memos with the White House. That’s why I see she’s headed there.
I guess it shows loyalty…but it also shows “bad judgement.” Not sure how that would show up on a security check.
I really don’t care either way. But that White House job is grueling. Not sure she would be happy in that role.
After reading the Salem News article, Bartiromo was dumped because of the rules of engagement imposed by Delaware Judge Eric Davis when he fired Tucker Carlson.
This is an example of Judge Davis gaining credentials to “buy” with a future Democrat President a Supreme Court seat. Knocking down a network’s anchors by imposing a special set of standards to the opposition media is one way to end Freedom of the Press, and using Dominion Voting Systems helps this process. The company controls Fox through Judge Davis. Watch for whoever Democrats get to push him on the Supreme Court, shutting down opposition media.
Well, if her actions were part of the reason it cost the company $700+ Million dollars, I can understand why Fox would be concerned.
I understand why some people get emotional about this, but I imagine the corporate lawyers were quite unemotional when they pointed out the potential liability. I am sure they all love Maria, but they cannot afford to pay out more when they can avoid it.
It showed a lack of judgement on her part. I am sure she will land on her feet.
