soooo you’re telllling me there’s a chance?
FReeper Laz is now worried about future worker shortages in massage parlors.
Good thing so many of them believe in reincarnation.
Good!
We are full we don’t need any of their “skills” over here. We built a country without them and don’t need anything they have to offer.
Excellent!
We are well supplied in Indian doctors, hospitaly owners, and convenience store operators.
This combined with zero grace period is a strong disincentive.
Let true contributors like Ashish Vaswani (father of the Transformer and thus modern AI), and Amit Singhal (father of Google search) stay. Get rid of the deadweight, a sizable portion of which are document falsifiers.
And if we are smart we will never allow mass migration again.
Migration is ok, small numbers defused through out the country but allowing large homogeneous groups in to settle in their own enclaves is a really bad idea. We have seen this for 180 years now.
I have no faith in us being smart but stranger things have happened.
Oooh, but I am notcaring.
We have enough Indians (Dots, not Feathers).

Look forward to more numerous Filipino Hindu immigrants.
Cross your ‘t’s... Dot you ‘i’s... Tell the truth, but most importantly... Get in line.
Like the Flatt and Scruggs song “99 Years” about the guy getting that prison sentence. “But it could have been life.”
When achieving high positions Indians, as a rule, hire other Indians over others no matter how better qualified those others are. That’s tribalistic and racist values America does not need.
Then there’s the recent discovery that many thousands of them may be working in the IT and medical fields after purchasing fraudulent documentation and are surely less competent than their jobs require.
But hey, most are just running the overpriced convenient stores and seedy motels that Americans are too lazy to.
A very poor start...
By a factor of 10...
Ah the DMV gambit!
Well, if they can’t make it here in time for them to work, they can at least come here to retire. They are lucky they have lifespans like those from Old Testament days.
The current life expectancy in India is 66.5 years for males and 70.1 years for females, so I don’t think many of them are going to live 179 years.
