Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville has issued a simple piece of advice to Democratic candidates ahead of the 2026 midterms: Make it all about Donald Trump.
MS NOW’s Ari Melber on Tuesday asked Carville what he thought of the argument that Democrats “still need the affirmative message of why this is not just anti-Trump, but [to] turn the page to helping people’s lives.”
Carville responded bluntly: “Why do they need to be for anything?”
“People are going to vote on Trump,” he said, noting that the president reportedly has a $400 million campaign war chest and will participate next week in the GOP’s first-ever midterm convention, which he predicted would be a failure.
“And my advice to Democrats is don’t — just do nothing, stand there,” Carville said, arguing that “the time for the Democratic message is going to be when we run for president” in the 2028 election.
The midterms will be “about one thing and one thing only,” he continued. “Do you want to continue in the same direction of Trump, or do you want to slow this train down? And I think clearly people want to slow it down.”

Anti-Trump is an easier sell than kill babies, castrate children, more crime, kill white people especially Jews.
Gosh, he resembles a puppet made to look like a mummy. The Democratic party has some of the worst looking old farts I’ve ever seen in one place.
To follow the law and not cheat?
The problem they have is Trump is stopping the cheating
Dems cheat. It’s how they get into office
People like the Bushes come along and do nothing more than tell them where and how to hide their cheating
Trump does not do that. He acts. It takes him longer in this case because it’s a vast and complex old system but he is breaking it up. For good
Carville’s fright should clue people in but it doesn’t. They focus on Trump losing. He doesn’t lose.
James Snakehead Carville and Hunter Degenerate Biden seem to be in a back-and-forth LOOK AT ME! pattern.
Anyone who interviews Snakehead should definitely have a stock of anti-venom handy.
Anyone who interviews Degenerate should check their wallet, and immediately be tested for a wide variety of STDs.

They have made it all about Trump for 12 years. So he is suggesting they do what they have been doing? Oh, excuse me, let illegal alien crossdressers into the country who can kill, maim, and molest our children? Turn women into men and men into women? take away all private ownership and give to non-workers? Destroy all vestiges of American History and replace it with Race Theory? Those are all good Democrat issues.
