"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

US Seizes Hemet, California Ranch Property Bought by New CJNG Leader Juan Carlos Valencia González “El 03”

Federal prosecutors seized a 4.8-acre Hemet ranch allegedly tied to Juan Carlos Valencia González, the suspected top leader of Mexico’s powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
The U.S. Department of Justice filed a civil forfeiture action in July against the property on Three Springs Road, in Hemet, California.
The 4.8-acre property on Three Springs Road is connected to Juan Carlos Valencia González, 41, who was born in Santa Ana and is one of the DEA’s most wanted. A $25 million reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest and/or conviction.
.....In August, US prosecutors identified Valencia González as the top leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) following the death of his stepfather “El Mencho,” in February. The U.S. State Department designated the CJNG a foreign terrorist organization in 2025.
Property records show Valencia González purchased the Hemet land in March 2011 for $250,000 under the name Juan Carlos González, dropping the Valencia name heavily tied to “Los Cuinis.” The property’s assessed value is currently $326,692. Realtor.com estimates the market value of the land at $841,000.
.....Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said he was unaware of the particular Hemet property before the federal forfeiture action was filed, but that it did not surprise or concern him.
“What’s the big deal in this? It’s just funny to me,” Bianco said.
He said cartel-linked properties number in the hundreds across communities such as Hemet, Perris, Mead Valley and Riverside.
Before the 2014 Riverside County Sheriff’s election, Bianco worked as a Lieutenant at the Hemet police station.
And while Valencia González is a U.S. citizen, Bianco argued that many cartel leaders and their lieutenants are not, and that California’s sanctuary laws have restricted local law enforcement’s ability to investigate the immigration status and broader activities of people with suspected connections to international drug-trafficking organizations.

An ex-CIA agent who stashed $40 million in gold bars at his Virginia home for “work-related expenses” could land a plea deal with federal prosecutors, according to court documents.
David Rush, 49, and the Justice Department have made significant progress toward a “plea agreement in principle,” the feds and Rush’s lawyers wrote in a joint motion Friday in the case — one of the most significant financial crimes in the history of the CIA.
Rush was arrested in late May after the feds removed a staggering 303 gold bars that were US government property and worth $40 million in a raid at his Ashburn residence. Authorities also recovered 35 luxury wristwatches and $2 million in cash at the home.
The ex-agent — who allegedly bluffed his way into the CIA by faking his resume and posing as a doctor and pilot at one point — has been held behind bars after being deemed a flight risk.
Both sides are now asking a judge for a 21-day extension in the case to give them time to reach a “pre-indictment resolution.”
Rush has been formally charged with only one count of theft of public funds for fraudulently claiming tens of thousands of dollars in compensation for military leave after he had been discharged from the US Navy in 2015.

It looks like the above ground facilities were cooked. I don't see anything that leads me to believe the underground piping was destroyed. It should therefore be able to continue carrying oil.
The good news here is that the loss of one pumping station on the pipeline won't necessary stop oil flow. I am sure a facility with significant national implications will have safeguards and internal redundancy designed and built into it.
You don't build systems like this without a way to conduct maintenance and repairs while the pipeline is in operation.
Since the Saudis have been talking about expanding the pipeline it is likely that any long lead equipment is already on site.
