Indeed they are. I am way, way beyond sick and flippin’ tired of people blithely referring to the rapid degradation of our society as simply being ‘change’, and how people like myself just need to ‘embrace’ and/or ‘celebrate’ it. I’m 65, and have seen plenty of change. Some of it has definitely been for the better, my favorite examples being fuel injection replacing carburetors on automobiles and color TV. Amazing things in medicine have also transpired for the better. Most days, I am hard-pressed to name any other ‘changes’ beyond these that have been for the better.

I hear you and agree. And... some of those amazing things... like computers and the internet (which I’m addicted to)... have also been used for evil purposes. Like everything the cretins get next to, it turns from a good thing into bad things real quick.

You’re 65 so you still have another decade or two to ‘observe’ the change. I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I don’t think you’re going to like what’s coming. I know I’m not. All we can do is endure and hold fast to our faith in Jesus. He will make all things ‘right again’ (no pun intended...lol) at the appointed time.
