I'm getting a lot of scathing pushback calling JD Vance a leftist so I'm laying out why it's true in a straight-forward, semi-nuanced way. It is not me making the claim, the following is what Vance has personally stated he believes in.
1. Vance calls himself a post-liberal. Post-liberalism rejects free-market capitalism and individualism in favor of the government securing economic and social well-being (social welfare). The counter-argument is to recognize the responsibility of individuals for their own welfare (food, shelter, well-being).
2. Vance says he believes in Hamiltonian economics. Hamiltonian economics has shared commonality with modern left-of-center ideology primarily through its advocacy for an active, interventionist federal government that shapes the economy rather than letting the free market determine the direction of markets.
3. Vance has stated he agrees with the politics of Huey Long, Louisiana's leftist governor of the 1930's. Huey Long functioned as a left-wing populist whose economic policies focused heavily on wealth redistribution, even to the point of proposing heavy-handed capital taxation on personal fortunes in order to distribute individual earnings to those who hadn't earned what they received.
These 3 points are objectively accurate about what JD Vance believes and what conservatives fight against. To protest the reality of Vance's beliefs is to reject stolid truth.

One of the attacks against JFK was that he would be influenced by the Vatican. The following is his response to his KDS accusers:

That is exactly what happens. This is why car tires cost $200-$300 each. Obama put a tariff on imported tires because the Steel Worker’s union bitched about not being able to sell U.S. tires. It was meant to be more competitive and close the gap in prices. But as soon as the tariff prices got closer the U.S. companies jacked up their prices back to the same difference it was before. They took advantage of the situation to price gouge rather than “More competitive pricing”.
As for Vance? Just look at those he is loyal to and associates with. They are all big tech and Globalist Democrats hell bent on digital enslaving us into the One World Order.

A few weeks ago, JD declared himself a moderate on JoeRogan.
THAT cannot be overlooked and is a HUGE red flag.
OTOH, DeSantis continues to govern as a strong Conservative and remains my top choice - far ahead of Rubio and even further ahead of Vance.

And John Paul II's teaching that the dignity of the human person requires respect for opportunity for individuals to develop talents and earn money is quite close to free market doctrine.
Anyone interested should watch Vance's discussion with Catholic Bishop Barron, where he makes quite clear that while he accepts Catholic teaching about ends, he strongly disagrees with the current hierarchy about means. If by "Biblical Nation" we mean a nation (a people) that mostly adhere to biblical principals and morals, I sadly disagree. There are many Americans who adhere to biblical principals and morals - but they don't constitute being the nation.
The majority of today's TV shows and movies are amoral or immoral - many are anti-Christians and anti-nuclear family. Many if not most of our schools indoctrinate students with anti-Christian, anti-biblical views. We have laws and policies that support and defend abortion and transgender mutilations. Many so-called Christian churches and Jewish synagogues support the same evils. I could go on. The point is that the 'nation' is at or maybe past a tipping point. The hearts and minds of many if not most Americans do not adhere to biblical values, principals and morals.
I always prefer governors.
It is not being followed, but the foundation remains.
