It shouldn't have been for the Whole Complex...It was a building for the entire Nation...

There are separate pieces. to this. Maybe a statue at the entrance...

The building has been added to several times.

And it was Eisenhower...not Kennedy who was responsible for the Complex.

Eisenhower signed the National Cultural Center Act which authorized it; but the Kennedys were very active in fundraising for it.
