Still the dumb stuff.
You can post your material in different forms, but it’s all still dumb stuff. You are not capable of presenting/posting any salient arguments on the Ukraine/Russia war. Try posting something of value and intelligent, which I know you are incapable of doing.
BTW, Russia lost the war years ago, but Putin knows he still has hundreds of thousands of Russian men to sacrifice for his ego and madness.
Putin is exhibit #1 for the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for a different outcome.

BTW, how are things going in Crimea, which Putin invaded in 2014. How are things progressing in the Donbas region, Putin’s #1 goal.
Has he succeeded in making any part of Ukraine, Russian? Occupying a country’s land does not make that land Russian. Ukraine is slowly but surely taking back its territories and villages/towns/cities.
Do you think you’ll be successful in getting out of Crimea, which is not in virtual Ukrainian control.
How many more Wildberries before they’re all gone?
So, argue on those and other points related to the war.

Why did Germany and France oppose Ukrainian admission to NATO? Because they accurately predicted the consequence. There's no other reason. But it's academic, because Ukraine AGREED with that! Prior to 2014, Ukraine never applied to join NATO. The only reason it has done so since 2022 is because Russia has serially violated decades of non-aggression agreements against Ukraine, border recognitions, formal UN and Belovezha recognition of Ukraine's "independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity" all in order to force vassal state status on its neighbor for the Greater Glory of Russia. What did they think Ukraine was going to do? Accept the "ratchet effect" of Moscow's serial abuses of power and influence, its serial breaches of contracts and faith indefinitely?
That was still true until the coup, and the coup government then put NATO ascension into their constitution.
Again you're mistaking effect for cause. Ukraine's NATO ascension was not the cause of Russian aggression; Russian aggression was the cause of Ukraine realising that all it was actually getting out of Russia in return for its "neutrality" was Russia bullying and blackmailing it. Even when Russia and Ukraine were both in the NATO partnership for Peace, Russia tried to assassinate Ukraine's presidential candidates on the basis that it didn't want Ukraine to have even the same relationship with NATO that Moscow itself was actively promoting. Come on, dude; make that make sense.

Not really. The Putin puffers in here often can't even manage to get the most basic of basics right, like matching the "reply to" name to the post they're replying to. No wonder they struggle to comprehend anything bigger than a couple of paragraphs, and so have to dismiss anything posted that actually involved THINKING as "AI slop". Critical thinking really isn't their strong point.
There are hundreds of thousands of people now dead who might characterize the dangers of provoking Russia differently, if they could still speak.
FAIL. You're still accepting the premise of "provoking Russia" as fact. It is not fact. It is utter fiction. Demonstrably so. Ukraine's NATO and EU relationships pre-2014 were exactly the same as Russia's... until Putin got captured by the Dugin empire-restoration kool-aid.
This CSPAN clip from June 18, 1997 better than anything highlights how poorly neocons predict the outcome of their actions...
I've equally said the neocon position for decades has been utterly brainless; while European NATO was bending over backwards to invite Russia in from the cold, the neocons kept baiting Moscow by trying to invite Ukraine into NATO even though Ukraine wasn't even interested at the time.
Thing is, though, I can walk and chew gum at the same time, even if you can't. So my take on it is that despite American stupidity, Europe wasn't being stupid. Russia could see that. So Russia should've just accepted that the Americans banging on about Ukraine joining NATO were talking out of turn and calling for something NOBODY ELSE was calling for. Ukraine wasn't applying. Germany, France and others were saying even if Ukraine did apply they'd veto the application. Ukraine and Russia both knew the neocons were talking absolute nonsense.
And when YOU know something is nonsense, and you know nearly everyone else also knows it's nonsense, trying to argue "but we decided to take it seriously which is why we tried to assassinate a Presidential candidate, flooded the country with political dissidents and mercenary fighters, spent years bribing and blackmailing their political leaders, and waged a 20-year cyber war against people who were no threat to us" to stand up as a rational argument.
Ukraine is a decrepit Third World country whose pre-war per-capita GDP was the lowest in Europe with the exceptions of Kosovo and Moldova, roughly on par with Guatemala in economic terms.
As others have said, there are three good reasons for that.
The first is Russian political interference and its endemic sponsorship of corrupt practices carried over from the Soviet days, which was preventing Ukraine from modernising and generating wealth. One of the reasons why Ukraine was pivoting to Europe was because it recognised, far better trade terms and far more wealth would come to it if it adopted modern international standards of accountability and transparency, and ended the corrupt Mafia ways of working that were holding them back. But every time Ukraine or Russia has someone promising to end the Mafia way of working, Putin sees this as a direct challenge to his power, and so he goes to war against them. (Example: when Khordokovsky unilaterally opened all his businesses up to external inspection and audit, purely to prove to Europe and the USA that his businesses were Mafia-free, Putin went to war against Khordokovsky.)
The second is, Ukraine was one of the bread baskets of the global food market, but it is actually very difficult to turn an agriculture-heavy economy into one where everyone involved in the agribusiness is getting rich.
The third is, Ukraine's mineral, mechanical and industrial industries were massively under-developed and the big players who could've changed that were in the West, not in Russia. Don't you think it's telling that Putin only developed an interest in grabbing the Azov sea and Crimea after Ukraine sealed deals with the West on fuel exploration and extraction? Instead of going to market with massivel discounted oil and gas so that Russia got the political benefit and the oligarchs at the top of the chain got stupendously rich, Ukraine chose the alternative - a properly regulated market where anyone could buy shares in the companies involved and get rich from the fuel being sold at decent, profitable price while being reassured that it wasn't being run like a Mafia operation.
It takes extra special levels of incuriousness to get to a point where you can see Ukraine was being held back WHILE IT WAS IN THE RUSSIAN SPHERE OF INFLUENCE and not ask the question, maybe the problem wasn't Ukraine mismanaging itself so much as Ukraine being held back by being in Russia's sphere of influence where the Mafia way of doing business works hand in glove with the Kremlin.

FAIL. You're still accepting the premise of "provoking Russia" as fact. It is not fact. It is utter fiction. Demonstrably so. Ukraine's NATO and EU relationships pre-2014 were exactly the same as Russia's... NATO and Ukraine's relationship changed post-2008. What changed it?
"NATO welcomes Ukraine’s and Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations for membership in NATO. We agreed today that these countries will become members of NATO."
https://www.nato.int/en/about-us/official-texts-and-resources/official-texts/2008/04/03/bucharest-summit-declaration
I've equally said the neocon position for decades has been utterly brainless; while European NATO was bending over backwards to invite Russia in from the cold, the neocons kept baiting Moscow by trying to invite Ukraine into NATO even though Ukraine wasn't even interested at the time.
You are correct that Ukraine wasn't interested. I can share polls from 2008-2013 demonstrating that, in addition to the outcome of the 2010 presidential election, in which East/West alignment was a distinction between candidates.
The coup changed that, and enshrined NATO membership in Ukraine's constitution.
Europe wasn't being stupid.
"Being stupid" about what? Why would France and Germany veto Ukrainian membership? Because, as Merkel herself said, Putin would view that as a "declaration of the war."

Ukraine and Russia both knew the neocons were talking absolute nonsense.
The problem with this viewpoint is that the history is documented, and contradicts it. Biden's neocon White House hosted a Ukrainian delegation that produced the September 1st, 2021 Joint Statement on the U.S.-Ukraine Strategic Partnership:
As the United States and Allies reaffirmed in the June 2021 NATO Summit Communique, the United States supports Ukraine’s right to decide its own future foreign policy course free from outside interference, including with respect to Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO.
https://bidenwhitehouse.archives.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2021/09/01/joint-statement-on-the-u-s-ukraine-strategic-partnership/
Russia's response was to call for a security conference, and this was finally rejected by the Biden White House in December of 2021. We know what came right after.
Insofar as the rejection of Realpolitik, I'd like to highlight how the U.S. and others are ignoring the last strikes by Israel in Syria:

Did a violent mob kill police and storm and take over government buildings to overthrow the elected president in Ukraine?
NOpe!
Yes. They did.
NOpe, again!!! It's NOpe, dope! You can't undo the truth by denying it.
You are buying into the talking points, aka: propaganda and and lies by Putin and the Kremlin. You are at the point where even if Putin himself admitted that he instigated the protests and violence, you would call Putin himself wrong and a liar for admitting the truth.
AI Summary first:
The narrative that a "violent mob overthrew the government" is a disproven talking point primarily promoted by the Kremlin to delegitimize the interim government and justify its subsequent military invasion and annexation of Crimea in 2014.
NEXT: Details of the actual events:
In 2014, did a violent mob kill police and storm and take over government buildings to overthrow the elected president in Ukraine?
No, that description mischaracterizes the historical events of the 2014 Euromaidan Revolution in Ukraine.
The democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovych, was removed from office by a constitutional vote of the Ukrainian Parliament after he fled the capital following months of mass civil protests.
The Real Chain of Events
The Protests: The movement began peacefully in late 2013 when President Yanukovych abruptly refused to sign a long-planned European Union association agreement, opting instead for a financial package from Russia. The demonstrations expanded into millions of citizens protesting systemic government corruption and police brutality.
The Violence: Clashes escalated significantly in February 2014. Government security forces and riot police (the Berkut) used live ammunition and sniper fire against protesters. While some radicalized factions of protesters fought back with crude weapons and Molotov cocktails—resulting in the deaths of 13 law enforcement officers—the overwhelming majority of the casualties were civilians, with over 100 protesters killed.
The Buildings: Protesters did occupy several local administrative and public buildings in Kyiv and western Ukraine to establish logistical bases and emergency hospitals, but they did not forcefully breach and hold the central halls of government to execute a military coup.
The Ouster: On February 21, 2014, European mediators brokered a peace deal between Yanukovych and opposition political leaders. Immediately following the deal, Yanukovych abandoned his post and fled Kyiv for eastern Ukraine and eventually Russia.
Finding the presidency abandoned, the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada)—including members of Yanukovych's own political party—voted overwhelmingly (328-0) to strip him of his powers, restore the previous constitution, and schedule snap democratic elections.
************************************************************
Obviously, the Ukrainian people did not want Putin's puppet running Ukraine, and they were forced to take matters into their own hands. It's kind of like what the Iranian people wee doing in January this year, and what residents of the 13 American colonies did starting with the Boston Tea Party. It's the citizens acting when the majority disagree with a government not of their choosing.
Putin and Yakunovich forced the people to revolt. Duh!

You've explained how you lack the intellectual capacity to entertain hypotheticals,
You are the equivalent of a nut case in an insane asylum calling everyone else around him, the crazy ones.
You have no idea about what intellect is. You lack it, and you have displaced whatever intellect you might have had, with a mind that just absorbs propaganda and lies to support your mindless and illogical beliefs.
That's equivalent to Antifa/Occupy Democrats seizing the following buildings in our capital trying to eject the president:
Total nonsense. When you start out with a hypothetical and an illogical premise, everything that follows is pure junk.
Hence, all of the following is the junk that follows your garbage premise:
The District of Columbia's City Hall,
The Francis Perkins Labor Department building,
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts building,
The Smithsonian,
Jamie L. Whitten Agriculture Department building,
and the Eisenhower Executive Office building.
And, hey!, you forgot to include the ISS and Mount Rushmore and Tranquility Base and the Statue of Liberty and he Land of Oz.
If you're going to mention things that have not happened, might as well make up a few others. Making things up is what the enemy is good at, and you have learned your lessons very well. How long has Putin been tutoring you?
I'm pretty sure you came up with the following while looking yourself in the fact in a mirror:
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you just had no idea because our media sucks, and you're not a very inquisitive person beyond the curated answers you get from Putin and the Kremlin and the Russian media.
scraped by AI and delivered to you when you think of the right questions.
So, you're now one of the intellectually deficient people who do not like AI because if delivers the truthful answers you don't want to hear or read?
In 1808, the famous author and poet, Sir Walter Scott, wrote the following about people like you:
"Oh, what a tangled web we weave / When first we practice to deceive!"
It means that lying starts a growing chain of complications that quickly spirals out of control.
IOW, kinda like starting off with a false premise from which the rest of the narrative creates a bunch of other lies. Putin creates a lie and presents it as truth, and everything else that follows becomes the truth, according to the initial lie having been set up as the base for everything that followed.
Meaning: Initial dishonesty forces a person to tell more lies to hide the first one, trapping them like a spider's web.
Common Usage: People use the maxim as a warning against the messy, compounding consequences of deceit.
Obviously, you lack the intellectual capacity to understand how an initial lie can be set up for all the lies that follow to sound truthful. Putin set up the stage for all the lies that followed, which set up the stage for the protests and revolts in Ukraine.
You need to start thinking for yourself. Don't let others manipulate you with their lies or their versions of the truths.

You can't see Putin's corrupt game for the cover it's always been, and not the heroic story you've happily and mindlessly accepted.
When you learn to do that you'll truly learn what America First means.
But, the Putin invasion of Ukraine has nothing to do with America First, not as far as YOU are concerned. With YOU, it's Putin and Russia first. Duh! They can't do wrong.

Total nonsense. So when AI tells you that the anti-democracy protestors in Kiev seized the following government buildings, your response is to just refuse to believe it? Do I have that correct?
To: Gunslingr3
Total nonsense.
Of course what you posted is TOTAL NONSENSE! No two ways about it.
Like I explained to you before, when you start with a flawed premise, everything that follows is just as flawed, or pure junk/lies. You started with a lie, which Putin and his cohorts wanted to use as their excuses for the later launching of the invasion and takeover of Crimea.
This is YOUR version of events and your own AI question:
So when AI tells you that the anti-democracy protestors in Kiev seized the following government buildings, your response is to just refuse to believe it? Do I have that correct?
Notice you used the word 'anti-democracy' in your statement, which is a huge flaw in your understanding of events in 2014 Ukraine. NO AI is going to return the words 'anti-democracy' with your query; you made that up.
Here is my query, which is not biased in the form of the question:
Did the anti-democracy protestors in Kiev seized buildings in the 2014 uprising?
Notice I even used your wording, 'anti-democracy protesters' in my question, and this is what AI returned:
Yes, protestors did seize and occupy several government and administrative buildings in Kyiv during the 2014 Euromaidan uprising, but historical and international consensus characterizes these demonstrators as pro-democracy and pro-European, rather than anti-democracy.
But notice that, the demonstrations were characterized as PRO-DEMOCRACY and Pro-European and not as anti-democracy', as you characterize them as being. IOW, when you start out with lie, everything that follows is just as flawed.
The movement, known as the Revolution of Dignity, began in late 2013 to protest President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to shelve an integration treaty with the European Union in favor of closer ties with Russia. No doubt, at the request or strong-arming by Putin.
The protests quickly expanded into a massive popular demand for government transparency, democratic reforms, and an end to institutional corruption.
Sounds like a pro-democracy movement to me. Duh!
Buildings that you like so much to point out as 'occupied' by anti-democracy protesters:
Buildings Occupied in Kyiv
As the standoff escalated and the government deployed violent crackdowns, demonstrators adapted their tactics to sustain the movement:
Kyiv City Hall: Occupied early in the movement and utilized as a headquarters, barracks, and soup kitchen for the protestors.
Trade Unions Building: Located directly on Independence Square (Maidan), this served as the primary operational center, media hub, and medical clinic for the demonstrators until it was severely burned during clashes.
Ministry Buildings: Protesters broke into and occupied several strategic offices, including the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and the Ministry of Justice, using them as shelter from sub-zero temperatures.
The Presidential Administration and Parliament: On February 22, 2014, after a bloody escalation involving state snipers, an agreement was signed, and police forces abruptly withdrew from central Kyiv.
Protest self-defense units quickly stepped in to secure empty state facilities, including the parliament building and the President's official office, after Yanukovych fled the capital.
Guess where Yanukovych decided to flee to? Yep, his puppet-master's country, Russia.
Contextual Distinctions
While Russian state media and the deposed administration labeled the movement an "illegal, anti-democratic coup," international observers and independent historians reject this framework.
Ukraine’s democratically elected parliament remained intact throughout the crisis, ultimately voting overwhelmingly to remove Yanukovych from office and schedule immediate, internationally monitored democratic elections.
Concurrently, pro-Russian and anti-Maidan groups—frequently backed or directed by Russian forces—began their own campaigns in the spring of 2014, seizing regional state administration buildings in eastern Ukraine and Crimea, which led to the annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of the Donbas conflict.
IOW, Russian sympathizers started the process of illegally annexing Crimea and started the outbreak in the Donbas region, which was the actual start of the Ukrainian invasion.
It must be very hard for you to accept the truth, but, it is said that 'the truth shall set you free'. Set your mind at ease and start accepting the truth. You'll feel a lot better once your mind is at peace with the truth.

NOpe!"
But on 8/20/2026, 3:48:34 PM you quoted AI:
Yes, protestors did seize and occupy several government and administrative buildings in Kyiv during the 2014 Euromaidan uprising
So which is it, do you believe the protestors didn't storm government buildings, or you now understand that they did? You can't have it both ways.
