An Arizona man burst into flames when a cop tasered him next to a gas pump that caught fire, horrifying footage shows.
Clarence Coyl suffered burns across his hands after igniting when the federal wildlife officer deployed the stun gun at Thalypo gas station on July 16.
The lawman had followed him to the store after catching him allegedly driving with a friend through an open gate at Havasu National Wildlife Refuge 20 minutes earlier.
Coyl told Fox 10 Phoenix: “He goes, ‘You guys came through the gate, didn’t you? Leave now. Get out of here.’
“I’m like, ‘OK’ and he got really snotty, and he says, ‘Well, I’ll give you a ticket,’ and I say, ‘Give me a ticket, you gotta trespass me first.”
He then drove to a nearby Thalypo gas station where the U.S. Fish and Wildlife officer confronted him.
The flames begin with the officer — sporting a shaved head and black sunglasses — pointing his taser at the man.
“You’re gonna go to jail, all I’m asking for is your license right now to identify you …” the officer shouts.
“What am I being arrested for?” Coyl said.
“You are not cooperating for having committed a crime …” the officer says back.
“What? A misdemeanor? A misdemeanor a–hole. It’s a $10 …” he says, before the crack of the officer’s stun gun deploying cuts him off.

Bad reporting. Taser was used, not a stun gun. Stun gun has to physically touch the subject.
Man did not burst into flames. A mans hands did.
If you don’t like stupid cops, you surely must hate even stupider reporters who do not write while under physical threat and STILL get it wrong
And if anyone hates stupid cops, they oughta’ step up and make the next arrest as a civilian, when you see a law broken. Didn’t think so.
Coyl was acting like a typical street psycho. Drugs? Mental disease, suicidal? Was lucky he wasn’t killed. But if keeps on behaving in an arrogant, and blameless manner, some low life associate will probably kill him.
Read the thread and 1/4 of FR seems to be in that group. I am not a Back the Blur for anything type of guy, but I am 64 and learned a long time ago that you won’t win an argument with a cop EVER. Take your ticket and go to the judge.
I have gotten 2 tickets I got in the past 10 years thrown out once I went to court. Sure, it’s a pain but beats sitting in a jail cell.
The picture of the officer says it all. This guy was looking to escalate. Then, the guy never gets charged, no one shows up to the hospital. Must have been calling their attorneys.

CLEAN UP YOUR ACT.
You know who are the bad actors ... the psychos, the bullies, the idiots, the egomaniacs ... in your profession. Get rid of them, or you're no better than them.
Police yourselves, or you will be policed ... and you won't like it.
And get rid of that damnable blue line banner ... it's emblematic of everything that's wrong with your profession.

Giving the DNR/etc “‘police powers” was not a great idea, in general.
They lack the usual training and temperament of real LEO.
They tend to be really confrontational and frustrated too
Decades ago the DNR was staffed by conservatives trying to stop poaching.
They e been heavily replaced by liberal tree hugger types.
At least in my area, anyway.
I’ve encountered WV game warden types, usually in the early spring when people start fishing in large numbers ... they seem pretty chill. Never got hassled, just show license then “Thanks and good luck!”.
I have no trouble believing that the Peoples’ Glorious Democratic Republic of Maryland is different ...
