The western mind really can’t grasp these savages. We expect everyone to want to return to “normal “ at some point.
Iran doesn’t care about “normal”. They are fine with chaos, destruction, and bloodshed. Bombing toward an agreement is a waste of time and munitions. Iran’s leadership is going to have to be eradicated by someone for this to ever be “over.”
If we destroy every missile and drone they will stand on the beach and throw rocks at passing ships for the sake of their spite. It’s all they have and all they are.
The IRGC has put an Autopen in charge, and put a turban on its crown.
The Shia have been bringing war and conquest to West for 14 centuries. Now US & Israel have been smashing them for a few months and many here want us to surrender, because gas is o er 4$ a gallon. What a great sacrifice they make.

Everyone who has money invested in the stock market or puts gas in their vehicles is paying a steep price for this tomfoolery.
So far there has been no “steep price” of losses in the stock market really. Gas is still less than the Biden peak too.

Not sure if the administration fully understood who they were dealing with. Any sane people would have begged for a deal after the first week and I think that was what The Pres was expecting. But these people are not sane in our understanding if the word. They are religious zealot who are happy to die. They care nothing about the people of their country or the country itself. It’s all about their distorted view of their religious mandate. To quote the great John Belushi, “They are on a mission from God.” They could care less if we bomb them back to the 7th century. They and their religion are comfortable there.
I’m guessing if we turned Iran into a glass parking lot the few remaining IRGC survivors would fire off their last batch of rockets before succumbing.

The IRGC cares absolutely nothing about the people of Iran. They must maintain the status quo. If they lose power, their own people will tear them to shreds (literally).
If we were to get involved in a ground war, they people might praise us to our faces, but the would hate our peace keepers (soldiers) and kill them in guerilla action (just like Iraq).
We will have to bomb them until there are no targets left. Not a good idea listening to the Israel/neocon lobby, but we are in it and must stay the course. So sad.
Attacks on Iran are as intimidating and just as likely to bring about a change of mind of the islamoterrorist leaders of Iran as shooting at kamikaze pilots was likely to change their minds about attacking Allied ships in WWII.
There is no reason for us to be there. Trump said “We’ve won” in early March.
