As a nuclear historian, I went to see Oppenheimer opening weekend.
I was actually pretty unimpressed and thought “Fatman and Little Boy” was better.
I’ll watch “Troy” again if I want to see a movie about the Odyssey and a believable Helen.
Also worth mentioning - Young Washington with Kelsey Grammar is an outstanding movie and I encourage everyone to see it.
They are sure happy with this movie’s gross for the first weekend. Wonder what it might have made if a sizeable portion of the public didn’t refused to see it for pushing the Hollywood agenda?

I accidentally saw about thirty seconds of the movie on a video sharing website last night, that wasn’t accurately titled.
Quickly clicked out of it as soon as I saw a ‘cute little boy’ who used to be a cute little girl, playing a Greek Warrior. I figured that if that was the opening scene, there would be little in the movie that I would want to see.
Even with a $300 million box office, Tenet still lost about $100 million for Warner Bros.
I imagine this film will do well internationally as well as domestically. It will make money. I’ll wait until it hits the streaming services.
