TRANSCRIPT BEGINS~~~
Reporter 1: ...second most wanted fraudster allegedly behind, listen to this, a $1.2 billion dollar medicare conspiracy. Billion with a 'b'.
White House officials praising the anti fraud task force's role in making this bust.
This is why this task force is so important, because it has focused all of the resources of the federal government on doing this.
The Biden administration could have gotten him. They found plenty of time arresting people praying outside of abortion clinics. But, instead, they let this guy run away with all this money outside of the country...
Reporter 2 (Bill): And David Spun is joining us live from Washington with the latest on this. David, DOJ has been busy, busy, busy making these busts.
Reporter 3 (David): The department really has, Bill. This capture is part of that administration's approach.
To highlight fraud, sure other Justice Departments of the past have caught fraudsters, and did it for decades, but this time the FBI and DOJ put together a 'Most Wanted Fraudster' list....

I feel like a chump for not setting up my own fraud ring years ago
It's just an illusion, Magnum - now get your head right and your thoughts will follow ...
Arrested in a casino in Manila. (For anyone curious).
How much of the 1.2 billion can the government recover?
The dems will cry foul.
Not a very diverse group.
If this guy had stolen a couple of hundred K and absconded to the Philippines, he might have lived pretty much happily ever after if he’d kept his head down and lived a quiet life. Stealing a billion means you have a target painted on your back
“Stealing a billion means you have a target painted on your back”
Hans Gruber approves.
Well done!
I’m pretty sure I got about a half dozen calls from turd’s organization.
When will we start subjecting these criminals to actual painful punishment. I’m not talking wood chipper but at least life without parole in solitary confinement. There needs to be some deterrent.
He should be put to death if convicted.
No more tolerance of this wickedness!
“Two are already in custody in just 3 weeks. “
In just 3 weeks since what?
Since the investigation was started? I doubt it. This type of investigation takes a lot longer than three weeks.
“Two are already in custody in just 3 weeks. “
In just 3 weeks since what?
I see… since “the list” went public.
Not since the investigation was started which eventually led to “the list.” This type of investigation takes a lot longer than three weeks and a lot of people doing the work who don’t get credit.
How long did it take to compile “the list?” When was the investigation started and what was the incident or witness who finally led to the exposure of the scheme? God bless whoever triggered the investigation.
I find it hard to believe this all happened in a vacuum, this is Billions and Billions of Dollars, who was getting kickbacks and how much did they sell out our country for?
Is there a list available of nations that don’t have an extradition treaty with the US?
Asking for a friend...
If he is duly convicted, will the US be able to claw back his assets?
