Have you been to San Francisco, Los Angeles or Seattle lately? We should start by just taking them over and free the left coast people from these commie clutches.
Parts of Honolulu aren’t exactly paradise anymore either.
When I stayed on Waikiki Beach about ten years back I was warned not to go into the park at the end of the beach.
That there were hundreds of homeless people living in that park.
Later in the same trip we were on the Big Island. We took a drive over to Hilo. There were a fair amount of homeless there too.
I guess IF you were homeless, Hawaii beats the heck out of Detroit in the winter.
