Rosie O'Donnell will join a roster of guest hosts set to replace Jimmy Kimmel for the summer, the late night host has revealed.
Kimmel segued to the 'special treat for our commander in chief' with a nod to his September suspension during his Thursday monologue.
'I will be taking the next two months off, this time voluntarily,' Kimmel said, before showing off 'a potent group of' guests.
'Tiffany Haddish, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson, Jelly Roll,' he listed.
'And... I asked one of [Donald Trump's] all-time favorites - Rosie O’Donnell - to be here to keep the hits coming.'
The revelation drew uproarious applause.
'You're welcome,' Kimmel told the LA crowd.
O'Donnell, 64, and Trump, 80, have been embroiled in a fierce feud for the past 20 years.
Kimmel - an outspoken Trump critic - cracked: 'All I ask in return, Mr. President, is that you don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone.'
Kimmel, 58, typically takes off two months every summer. He adopted the practice during the pandemic.
Thursday's episode was his last before it begins.

The show is ABC, which is Disney. I’m surprised Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t wear Mickey Mouse ears or MCU superhero costumes to build corporate synergies across franchises.
Of course, Disney also owns ESPN, which owns the SEC. (Or is it the other way around? The land of the Borg is getting too complicated for me.)
Want to protest Jimmy Kimmel in a way Disney would notice? Cancel your subscriptions to all things Disney, including ESPN, and swear off SEC football until Kimmel is gone. Let Disney know why you’re walking away. If ESPN lost a million viewers on SEC broadcasts, the league would crack the whip fast. They had better move fast, before Texas and Georgia jump to the Big Ten.
In the meantime, maybe they’ll dress Rosie in Disney princess dresses. Ya gotta think like a streamer marketing director ....
LOL. Do they REMEMBER why Rosie’s show got cancelled? Do they remember that she was viewed as toxic? Do they remember “You know what happens to people who lie? They get sick and they get cancer. If they keep lying, they get it again.” Do they remember “Ching Chong Ching Chong Ching Chong.” Do they remember that the heavily pushed and cultivated “Queen of Nice” image crashed and burned into the “Queen of Mean” image?
