Politico Knocks 'Baseless' Suspicions of Radical Raman's Surge in L.A. Mayoral Vote Count
Newsbusters ^ | June 9, 2026 | P.J. Gladnick

Candidate Nithya Raman in the Los Angeles mayoral race came in third place on election night, June 2, so far behind second place finisher Spencer Platt that she essentially conceded the election in a tearful farewell. And then, miracle of miracle, over the next few days as more and more mail-in ballots kept rolling in, Raman suddenly surged in the votes, often exceeding first place Karen Bass in some counts and doubling the percentage of her election day returns to the extent that by Sunday she surpassed Pratt in the vote, thus apparently landing a spot in the November runoff elections.

Oh, and for those of you who expressed skepticism about this electoral miracle in the midst of a questionable vote count of the mass ballot mailings in which voter identification requirements were at best laughable, Politico has written off your concerns as "baseless."

The Politico California damage control team of Melanie Mason, Dustin Gardiner, and Blake Jones have already described any reasonable skepticism as, wait for it, "conspiracy theories" on Monday in "The online meltdown over LA’s vote count."

They count the normal legal ballots first, while waiting for the election to be over. Then they simply get the list of those who did not vote.

Then they get new ballots and fill them in using the non voter list.

Then they back date them, and send them in.

Easy peasy, works well, and what is anyone going to do about it?

The ROI is astronomical compared to risk.

The only way to stop it is max jail and executions for the leaders.

NO one has the drive to do so, and with no pitchforks and torches on the horizon, it is easier to click on something else.

LA County uses a vendor (VSAP) that was built by Smartmatic, which was created by the Venezuelan government to steal elections. The whole world watched Smartmatic steal the election for Maduro in the days following the election, even as the opposition (which later received a Nobal prize for her work) collected precinct tabulation reports which proved that Maduro lost. The steal was so egregious that even then-SecDef Tony Blinken said the election was stolen for Maduro. And it is basically the same software used in LA County right now.

It’s easier in LA County than in Venezuela because people who are willing to lie/deceive (i.e. amoral leftists/revolutionaries) can get as many ballots as they want, simply by registering without using any unique identifier such as driver’s license# or SSN. In that way they can use fake names, fake locations, and any combination thereof to get as many ballots sent to them as they want/need.

Gary Berntsen’s 12+ whistleblowing Venezuelan engineers have said they’ve used all the different election system vendors to steal US elections. They all use the same kind of code, which was built to allow election theft. Dominion (which uses Smartmatic’s code) has the added ease of the Huawei server that Brennan’s company installed in Belgrade which can upload a complete fabricated “results” database based on the “possible way X candidate could plausibly win”. They upload that wet dream and call it reality within the US system.

There’s way too much that could be said. Politico will ignore it all because they are part of the seditious conspiracy. But for anybody wanting to get a start on the evidence, a good place is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8F_16dKNuk

I am very much not a conspiracy guy, but the difference between in person voting and these late votes when it comes to Bass and Raman is incredibly suspicious. It can't be explained by a greater Dem emphasis on mail in voting because they are both Democrats.

It is suspicious as hell.

“doubling the percentage of her election day returns”

Took one class in statistics in college (50 years ago) I see things have changed.

If Karen Bass had the most votes that were counted before election day, then it is likely that Karen Bass would have the most votes that were counted after election day since Bass was a democrat and the main stream media kept pointing out that Democrats have an advantage in votes counted after election day. But why would Raman have more votes counted after election day than Bass? There is something fishy going on.

“...I’m surprised that Politico hasn’t yet used the worn term “debunked” to brush off serious allegations of vote fraud. But give them time...”

There’s a whole litany that have been mostly in storage since 2021:

(1) “debunked”
(2) “totally baseless claims”
(3) “election denial”
(4) “fabricated”
(5) (fill in ‘ist’ or ‘ism’ of your choice) “-conspiracy theories”
(6) “serious attempts to undermine the democratic process”
(7) “...white supremacy...”

etc. etc. etc...

Anyone who actually believes that the Ramen Noodle actually received all of those votes has been doing way too much methamphetamine and fentanyl.

What I have seen from 2020 and this Pratt election (as well as many dem late count victories over the years) is that unless measures to prevent fraud are taken before the election, nothing can be done about fraud afterwards. The inertia by the majority to confirm the results and not go back over them, far exceeds the smaller group that wants to review and audit the results.

This is why we need two things now:

1. A Supreme Court ruling that no ballots are counted after election day (with a few minor exceptions).
2. Pass the SAVE act to require IDs and require no illegal immigrant voting.

These two things will not end the fraud, but they will go far to significantly reducing it.

Politico lies. This is flat out fraud before your eyes, like 2020.

When were the new ballots postmarked?

Oddly enough that really doesn't matter here in CA. You can actually backdate it on the back where you sign and they'll count that date over a postmark.

Why even vote if it’s fairly certain that the worst possible candidate will be almost surely elected? Why even vote if you know the election is fixed? Why even live there if you know your life will always be controlled if you belong to a certain party?

It’s almost as if fraud was baked into the system.

They are postage prepaid, and you can hand write the date in yourself according to the rules. No postmark needed. No signature required you can literally draw a cartoon character, or an X and a witness can scribble on the affidavit - nobody verifies the witness name or signature. They mail out 23 million ballots including to large apartment complexes that receive 1000+ ballots which includes people who no longer live in the building (or the state). Ballot harvesting is legal and nobody checks if the ballots were really done to help the infirm or just taken by people who have lists of locations where they can get ballots that nobody will went are missing. It’s impossible to run a fair election under such circumstances. Which is exactly the point of these rules.

Murder convictions have been obtained with less evidence. The rats have the means, the motive, the guilty actions (removing all safeguards) and plenty of catalogued illegal voters.

“””They are postage prepaid, and you can hand write the date in yourself according to the rules. No postmark needed.”””

You make a good point that needs to be highlighted. Here is what copilot says when asked this question: “Does USPS Date Stamp a Postage-Paid Envelope?”

“””Copilot Search Branding
USPS does not automatically date stamp a postage-paid envelope just because it has prepaid postage. Whether a date appears depends on the type of postage used and how the mail is processed.

Standard prepaid postage (precanceled stamps, meters, permit imprints)

USPS will not apply a postmark with a date to mail that uses precanceled stamps, metered postage, or permit imprints sjgov.org.

These methods are designed to prevent reuse of postage, so USPS does not cancel or date-stamp them.

The “Postage Paid” marking on the envelope only shows that the sender has prepaid; it does not indicate a USPS-issued date PostGrid.

When USPS applies a date

USPS will date stamp mail that uses standard postage stamps purchased from a retail counter, if the mail is processed at a facility that applies postmarks sjgov.org.

The date on the postmark reflects when the mail was first accepted into USPS custody, not necessarily when it was dropped off Current Federal Tax Developments.

To ensure the date matches the mailing date, you can request a manual (local) postmark at a retail counter or use a Postage Validation Imprint (PVI) when paying at the counter Current Federal Tax Developments.
Key takeaway
If your postage-paid envelope uses precanceled stamps, meters, or permit imprints, it will not have a USPS date stamp. If it uses standard retail stamps and is processed with postmarks, you may see a date, but it may not match the day you mailed it unless you request a manual postmark or PVI Current Federal Tax Developments+1.
