The problem dynamic pricing is having is they keep saying it wrong. If you say “we’re going to charge more during peak hours” people whine incessantly. If you say “half priced drinks during slow times” (ie “happy hour”) everybody thinks it’s awesome.

The fact that the c-suite types at Wendy’s never thought to describe this a “happy hours” or “discount times” is amazing. It like they are trying to lose customers.
