Watch the ad. Just brilliant. Mom and Dad are talking to their mid-teens son who is playing video games. Dad says "In this house, we don't believe in Spencer Pratt. He's MAGA."

LOL..."In this house." Love it!

I know this video is AI, but the look on that kid's face is priceless, absolutely golden. He just stared at Mom & Dad and thought "My parents have no brains. They don't want to clean the streets up." You can tell that he's thinking "are Mom & Dad really this retarded?"

Yes. It is another brilliant ad.

It turns the Leftist worship of the young against them.

Wonderful.

So well done, subtle and clean, whoever is doing them has excellent taste and precision focus.

I think that the people in this country who might tend to vote Democrat fall into 2 basic camps.

On the one hand, you have real Communists. They want the revolution. They want huge economic changes. They want to eat the billionaires, redistribute the wealth and they want to kill the middle class. I don’t think too many Americans sincerely fall into this camp (some do).

On the other hand, you have Liberals. They care about the Trans people. They think drug addicts at the park are fine. They love Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba, Palestine, Iran and Ukraine. They hate America. They hate motherhood and apple pie. Many of them are named Karen and they all want to speak to the manager. I think most Democrats at this point are Liberals. And I think about 80% of this country really, really hates Liberals.

Pratt’s ads are rallying the public against Liberals. It’s a smart strategy.

It will take a whole new - and different - bloc of voters to get Los Angeles - and California out of its doom spiral.

I wish the best for Spencer Pratt - who said he’s leaving LA if he doesn’t win - but I think Bass is too entrenched and has the backing of the union (and their $$).

I hope I’m wrong...but I don’t think I am.

I had that exact conversation with a gubernatorial candidate last week. He’s clearly the best choice but is running a traditional campaign in non-traditional times.

Change is bad... ok? KEEP things the way they are now- messy, smelly, homeless defecating everywhere, drug addicts shooting up everywhere, kids in danger from psychos who should be in mental wards but instead wandering the streets- illegals everywhere- change is bad... bad... BAD! Vote Democrat!

The democrats are the ones that are anti-family. We’re just playing their game in a facetious manner.

“It turns the Leftist worship of the young against them.”

Exactly...brain dead zombie Mom & Dad called out by their much smarter and savvy teen son. It guts leftism at so many different levels, doesn’t it?

“excellent taste and precision focus”

Isn’t that the truth. It makes you wonder why such simple gut-punch, truth-telling ads have never been conceived before? Maybe the entrenched “experienced” political class and consultants could just never see outside their little cubicles before?

The undercurrent of this ad is the kid has to go to his school fighting his way through bums, vile acts, needles, graffiti, defecation while mom & dad drive to their suburban jobs and never see it. The scales have fallen from son’s eyes.

"No sound" -- I have that problem SO many times these days and sometimes it takes forever to track it down. The place I start is 1) is the sound level up on my computer (quick keypress on Mac keyboard) and then 2) look for the often small, obscure "no sound" icon (below). It's always in a different location on every single platform on the web and often hard to find. I had one the other day that took me forever to find. Then 3) try another web page. Or 4) quit browser and restart browser. 5) Test another browser. Lastly, of course, 6) restart computer. It's all so maddening.

Don't get me started on trying to get sound going in my 2014 Ford Expedition! That sometimes takes 20 minutes and I'm over half way to my destination. I've got a failing GPS chip and failing Bluetooth chip in the entertainment unit that cause all sorts of problems.

It's worth it to get the sound going on this ad. Trust me!

Cognitive Dissonance is what will get Pratt elected.

And hopefully whoever replaces Newscum.

“Cognitive Dissonance” — you have to wonder why their brains don’t explode.

“filthy streets, bums, needles, defecation, vile acts, riots, illegals, ‘social justice’ — all good”

“but I want a safe, prospering community where I can live”

How the hell do those people square that circle? How the hell do they hold both true at the same time (as you say).

A common response to the cognitive dissonance problem is to construct increasingly complicated conspiracy theories to explain the contradictions.

I had to let it play through and then refresh the page. Worked the second time. It may be getting lots of hits, but I don’t know if that messes up the sound or not.
