Most Mexicans and Central Americans in the US have much more American Indian than European ancestry. And the vast majority of them come to the US and establish themselves in the same squalid slum barrios as back home - i.e. not very likely to pass for the Cleaver family anytime soon.

As for the IQ stuff, it hearkens back to the eugenic/dysgenic garbage of the early 20th century.

People can call it "garbage" all they like, but it doesn't change the fact that dull people tend to have dull children and bright people tend to have bright children. It also doesn't change the fact that according to research from Jason Richwine, the mean IQ of Mexican and Meso-American immigrants to the US is in the 80s (the average IQ in Mexico is in the 90s, but the more successful, middle class Mexicans with more Spanish ancestry aren't usually the ones who come here).

How many American Americans have Native American blood in them? Answer: At least 10 million that readily acknowledge it, but probably about double or triple that number. You wouldn't know it because most of them have names like James McDonald or Michele Johnson.

Hispanic immigrants readily intermarry with the native population after one or two generations, just like the Italians did. As long as there isn't a constant spigot of mass immigration from Latin countries, those folks readily assimilate.
