I would add: Michelangelo‘s most important early work, the 53-inch wooden Crucifix in the Basilica of Santo Spirito in Florence - he was like 17 I believe when he made it.

Thanks! If I could handle travel (all the walking and climbing) I’d spend a whole summer in Italy, and all these would be on the itinerary, along with some ancient sites (huge surprise there) on the mainland and some of the islands.
