Right - they should have forced her out over a decade ago...it was clear this was going to be a disaster fairly early on in her tenure. The things she said in the initial interview where Lucas was passing the reins to her and she pledged things would remain the same were not true and pretty clear she had no intention of preserving the heritage of the franchise.

I’ve seen them on TV so maybe they were edited...but not much different than the Christopher Lee movies of the same era.

Jon Favreau has open contempt for Kennedy. There’s a behind the scenes discussion about the making of the movie on Disney+. They had a round table deal.

Favreau has the worst poker face I’ve ever seen. They were polite. But Every time Kennedy open her pie hole he looked at her with utter disgust and hatred. It’s actually hilarious.

Is it 100 or 160 million over a 4 day holiday opening weekend? How much money did this thing cost? What kind of numbers is Disney expecting? If they made this thing thinking that its going to make 700 mill to a billion than they are crazy?

I do see Disney paid a bunch of influencers and review bombers to hype the movie.

Wake up! It's 50 years after the first Star Trek movie. Nobody was watching The Jazz Singer XVIII in 1976 or The Birth of a Nation XXVII: The Confederacy Strikes Back (Yet Again) in 1966.
