“One of the very severe limitations we have in our judiciary is the IQ and attention span of the average randomly-chosen juror.”
I was Juror on a civil case about 20 years ago. It was wrongful termination regarding an big agricultural company. Lots of science, especially chemistry. The jurors in their 20s were clueless, and had glazed-over eyes most of the time. In the end, they voted according to which side’s lawyer was dressed better and cooler overall.
(Most of the kids were VPs at banks, so it makes a person wonder.)
Come to think of it, I was on a civil-jury once and I had thought to myself, on that occasion, that some of my fellow jurors were knuckle-heads!
I keep thinking to Trump’s statements that “We caught them. We caught them all. Nobody but me could do it.”
There was speculation at the time that Lindell was given records from the Serbia server. I still wonder if that might not be the case.
In the world that existed then, because of all the slander against “conspiracy theorists”, even slam-dunk evidence had nowhere to go because there were no judges who would allow justice.
And we’re still fighting that battle. Finding jurors who aren’t impacted by what they hear in the corrupt media is extremely difficult, and finding judges who will do what’s right might be even harder. That’s why the whole Alinsky “conspiracy theorist” label was anathema to the Republic; it totally sidestepped the little issue of what the evidence actually supported. Without an evidentiary epistemology we as a nation pursuing truth and justice are absolutely sunk.
It seems strange to have to say that justice shouldn’t be the same as choosing a homecoming king and queen.

But we will overlook your apparent confusion for at least a few reasons.*
- You have been a member of FR since Day 1.
- You may be older than me.
- You may feel uneasy about being stuck in CA.
- We might bump into each other when I next visit family members spread all over what used to be the best parts of CA.
*And, yes, BZ has been "on it" from the beginning; either her computer is extremely well organized, or she has a photographic memory.
