European security services are investigating suspected Iran-linked attacks on synagogues, Israeli sites, and opposition groups.
Germany’s domestic intelligence agency has warned that Iran could expand covert operations across Europe once fighting with the U.S. and Israel subsides, raising fears of attacks on Jewish targets, Israeli institutions, and opponents of the Tehran regime.
The Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) said Iranian dissidents and other individuals regarded by Tehran as “traitors” would face particular danger if the regime increases its intelligence and proxy activities across the continent.
One BfV official told Euractiv that the service is monitoring individuals based in Germany who have travelled to Iran for military training, or otherwise “placed themselves in the service” of the Iranian authorities.
Intelligence agencies across Europe have also been investigating a growing wave of attacks on Jewish and Israeli-linked sites believed to be connected to a shadowy Islamic network suspected of acting as an Iranian proxy. The incidents have largely involved arson, vandalism, and small improvised explosive devices targeting synagogues, Jewish charities, and Iranian opposition organisations.
Separately, EPP MEP Tomáš Zdechovský reported on Tuesday morning that several police forces across the European Union have uncovered “a vast online network of accounts and websites spreading propaganda linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.”
This group, the IRGC, was only designated as a terrorist organisation by Brussels in January this year, following Tehran’s deadly crackdown on mass protests.
Zdechovský said the authorities had “succeeded in removing thousands of links” and blocking the organisation’s main account on X (formerly Twitter).

Question - was it clear or unified from the start?
America spent its first decade under the Articles of Confederation, which failed completely and risked breaking the country apart into civil war before the Constitution was written in 1787.
I do agree with the French revolution as being messy, leading to the terror and then France’s ping-ponging between 1st republic-1st empire-renewed kingdom-2nd republic-2nd empire-3rd republic-Petain, vichy france - 4th republic - 5th republic.
But could one not argue as well that the American Revolution did have specific, tangible goals, such as ending British taxation without representation, securing self-governance, and protecting individual liberties. But it was not clear enough?
Let me think if I know of any other revolution that had clear achievable goals in sufficient detail, but your response will definitely help my thinking process

The IRGC has targeted Americans across the world. The Iranian IRGC is a terrorist organization and Iran supports international terrorism.
Nothing Germany is saying is new, Germany is just now understanding what Iranian terrorism includes.
Similarly, Russian state sponsored terrorism has killed and injured people all over the world as well.
