This would be a startling revelation to no one.

No kidding. I knew this back in the mid-Seventies, contrasting their treatment of Ford with Carter. The execrable and un-funny Chevy Chase just lived on his Ford portrayals as a bumbling boob, contrasting with the clever and sometimes funny (but rarely derogatory) portrayal of Jimmy Carter as a call center guest for drug users...
The double standard was evident even then. And it became far worse with Reagan.
Are they showing these shows in all of the public schools?
SNL is like comedy without the humor.
SNL is a joke. The new SNL UK is not as bad. It actually has a few funny skits every once in a while, and they haven’t been afraid to make fun of Keir Starmer or the Labour Party in general. Of course, Labour is in office now so it makes sense that that would be their focus.
I guess SNL US didn’t get the memo during Biden’s term in office. When they ignored the comedic gift of Biden and Harris for 4 years, that was all the proof anyone needed that propaganda, not comedy, was their top priority.
Good one. If SNL were still in the comedy business, they might want to hire you.
They don’t just make fun of conservatives. They made fun of Tucker Carlson too.
To them, Carlson is a conservative.

The funny thing is they are just promoting Carlson - giving him a lot of attention on a platform he doesn’t otherwise get. And the impression of him wasn’t funny at all. Probably the least funny impression they’ve ever done.
The only fun they made of Carter was when he went to Three Mile Island and grew to be 50 feet tall.

Of course Ford was not a conservative, especially not in the sense of either Reagan or Trump. And neither in some well documented ways, was Richard Nixon.
But neither Ford nor Nixon was Jimmy Carter, who planted the terrible harvest we still have to reap today with respect to Iran.
Ford wasn’t a Leftist like Carter. And he served his country in war honorably and bravely.
Yeah. And perhaps, just once, they did ridicule Jimmy Carter, and for that, being frightened of a rabbit swimming towards his boat, Carter fully deserved that ridicule.
Watching SNL is like having projectile diarrhea after drinking tequila and eating a platter load o tacos and burritos.
