It's not what it used to be. Andrew Dice Clay and George Carlin's stage personas were just an act. There's too much real venom and viciousness. Laughter is supposed to be good for you but when it comes at the expense of others, it's just lashing out with the bad taste of bitterness and hard feelings, and where is the fun in that?
