We saw something similar in Yellowstone a few years ago: bear munching on elk carcass next to the river, two wolves sauntering down the hill. Bear allowed them to munch a little. We were oohing and ahhing at that, then (God just showing off) a bald eagle swooped down in the middle of it. It was so far after sunset that the pic didn’t come out, but it was awesome.

Doesn’t appear to be a large, mature male. Wolf got lucky.
Looks like wolves are Democrats.
A pack of wolves, say 5 or 7 of them, could take the Grizz out and eat him too !
Worked in West Yellowstone as a 17 yr old one summer. Don’t think you could do the things we did that summer now. Too many bears.
