Blanche says Comey indictment goes beyond '8647' Instagram post

"The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," Blanche says.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said on Sunday that the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey goes beyond his "8647" Instagram post about President Trump.

"Rest assured that it's not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted," Blanche said on "Meet the Press" on Sunday.

"The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," he added.

Blanche declined to elaborate on the matter.

"So I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found," he said.

I wonder if there were email or social media posts encouraging violence.

It’s time to send ICE after Comey and deport his mangy ass.

This guy seems to be doing a great job. Why can’t Trump just let him have the AG job permanently and give something else to DeSantis when his term is over?

What about his infamous entrapment meeting? There must be planning correspondence. What is the criteria for sedition?

I am pretty sure that a separate grand jury in South Florida is investigating that as part of the larger Conspiracy investigation.

Blanche is excellent. His demeanor is user friendly.

I love it that Comey steps to the mike and again and again shows his arrogance...his supremacy...his righteousness.

As long as they disrupt his life...for the next 2 and a half years...that's fine with me.

I heard the interview of Comey saying his wife told him to take a picture of the stones....don't believe it for a minute. It was a real telling interview. He was lying his a** off. And you don't have to be a specialist to pick up on it. If the jurors saw that video...like on Bull...the board went from all green....to all red.

A lot of democrats (like schiff, brennan, clapper, strok, tish, et al) have to actually go down before this lifetime democrat/recent convenient convert proves that he isnt a fox in the hen house slow rolling things, first as DAG and now honcho, to keep the Justice Department cabal of uniparty lefties happy, so that they simply have to hunker down for 3 more years and then business as usual. Comey certainly isnt enough. This indictment took a year. crazy. How long did it take them to falsly imprison citizens at J6?

Good. It was weak case otherwise. It would still be worthwhile to pursue it because, at the very least, it would make other scumbags like Comey less likely to stir up trouble. Facing hard time in jail is not perfect but it can weed out some bad actors.

I find it difficult to believe that was the only time he made a threat. These people usually cannot help themselves. They are so brainwashed, this is normal behavior to them

The process is the punishment, they’ve been doing it to our side for years, time to fight fire with fire.

There is chatter out there of Comey being connected with the PA assassin.

Comey was deeply involved in the sedition to overthrow the Trump 45 presidency so it would not surprise me.

“As long as they disrupt his life...for the next 2 and a half years...that’s fine with me.”

I’m of a similar mind. Many of these corrupt folks might not get the prison time they deserve and that we would like to see, but if we can at least expose their crimes to the world that’s satisfying in itself. Then libs can’t claim the crimes aren’t real.

Plus if you ARE going to get them prison time or fines or some substantial penalty you have to start with evidence that reveals the crime in the course of convicting.

He’s doing too well, too early. Wouldn’t likely get confirmed.
