NO MORE “SOFT TARGETS”
A lot of us FReepers were taught to get under our desk to protect us from an atomic bomb.
There are simple inexpensive and low-tech devices that are available to effectively barricade a classroom door from the inside. As long as your local fire marshal approves, these might be considered.

Many times, substitute teachers are not given classroom keys. The room is unlocked by a janitor and opened for the rest of the day.
Some schools do give their subs a key for the day. So it would be a hit or miss for a shooter when a sub is there that day.
Liberals, leftists and other communists prefer there to be school shootings. It gives them cause to scream for gun control and helps keep the Chaos going which is their ticket to unending power.
At our high rise office we were taught to hide in our offices. I decided right after that “training” that my plan would be to exit the building thru the fire escape. A shooter could shoot thru the door and wall board walls into any area on each floor. Concrete stairs winding down 40 floors would be a lot harder to shoot thru. Never had to actually do it.
Good plan. Stay out of sight.

Now our grandchildren have to do the same, because of AMERICAN JUDGES (and the women who empower them).
imagine if everyone in that ballroom had tried to run out a few exits. People would’ve died in the crush of the self-important jabbering class.
Require guns and knives in all desks and backpacks.
The Marine tour of duty in Vietnam was 13 months long.
If I had kids I’d tell them to jump out the window and run like Hell.
Large central collections of people is always a touchy idea, especially in today’s multi-faceted environment.
Public schools are notorious prisons of rules and regulations that no one but a “member of their class” may enter.

I was a school board director for one term and two new elements were introduced to the curriculum;
drones and 3D printing.

As a board member I asked could I audit the classes . . . . I was retired with time and “standing” as a board member but was told rules did not allow anyone but students into the classrooms.

They have our kids for too many hours of a day, too many days of a year and they will accomplish more illiteracy (democrats) if allowed to continue.
Perhaps better than us 50s kids going to the school hallways and tucking our heads behind our asses.
Plant handguns in closets and under desks. Give the chillun a chance!
My high school had a shooting range in the basement. THAT is a learning center!
Protect the children at all costs! They are worth whatever it will cost to place armed officers in every school in this country. The American citizens will most certainly approve it.
Given the rarity of these events, I strongly suspect the school shooting drills are simply there to terrorize students and their mothers to push for gun control.
And since most of the shootings seem to involve current or disgruntled former students (and now trannies), we might pause to ask WTF is going in the schools?
