Mentalist Oz Pearlman, who hosted the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner Saturday night, is revealing the magic trick he performed on Karoline Leavitt moments before shots were fired.
Pearlman was seen speaking with the White House press secretary and First Lady Melania Trump, who was sitting next to President Donald Trump, and then showing them a mysterious piece of paper. Moments later, they all ducked to the ground behind the table on stage, before Trump and Melania were rushed out of the Washington Hilton ballroom.
ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl later caught up with the mentalist, who revealed what was written on the paper.
“Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary, said, ‘Challenged me. I’m having a baby next week.’ We were talking about it because we both have children, and she goes, ‘Can you guess what I’m naming my daughter?’ And so this was happening backstage,” he said. “We were interrupted because the president walked in. And so I said, ‘Let’s save it for when we get up on the dais.'”
Pearlman later went on stage to introduce himself to Trump and Melania, and that’s when he performed the magic trick on Leavitt, with the president and first lady also watching closely.
“I was coming to say hello to the president and to the first lady, and I was guessing letter by letter how many letters were in [Leavitt’s unborn child’s] name,” he recalled. “Then right at the moment where you see it happen, I wrote down the name and I said, ‘How did I do?’ And I turned around and that’s when you see the first lady go, ‘Oh! Is that the name?'”
However, before Leavitt could confirm if Pearlman was correct, a gunman stormed into the ballroom shooting...

The point here?
I’m pretty sure that during the DC Police press conference, the chief said that the ballroom doors were locked at the time the gunman made his move, implying that he wouldn’t have been able to enter the ballroom even if those SS guys hadn’t stopped him.

The point here is that Hollyweird *Reporter* needs to hire new reporters ... who can actually get the facts straight.

The point is, on leftwing sites the Leavitt thing is being spun into some weird conspiracy theory about this entire thing being staged to justify a ballroom that the left is enraged about, even though Obama’s tent city special events should have had them, were they not TDS infected, supporting the darn thing.
I have never heard that this has Oz has to do with any conspiracy. I was just curious to know who he was because I had never seen him before, he was at the President’s table in the moments of the shooting.
Couldn’t tell if he was a host or an event coordinator or a waiter running the menu off for Melania? I dunno!

I wonder who the girl 2 seats away from Trump was. She had exaggerated expressions watching the sleight-of-hand, as if trying to gain some attention to herself.
Also, Trump himself seemed quite non-plussed by the “trick”, as if he was thinking “oh jeesh, who is this guy with this silly schtick”.
And the trickster happened to be plying his “magician’s” trade, distraction, at a time when situational awareness could have made a huge difference. How did he rate being there at all?
For health precautions and avoiding scenarios of intense panic, Karoline probably should never have attended that Correspondent’s Dinner last night, being so close to her delivery date,
but I can easily imagine her insisting on it. She’s very good at her job and enjoys being included.
Why, I believe you are talking about Caroline Leavitt. the mother-to-be whose unborn child was the subject. She hardly has to seek attention.
If Oz Pearlman is such a great mentalist, why didn’t he foresee the gunman’s assassination intentions???
