I’m pretty sure that during the DC Police press conference, the chief said that the ballroom doors were locked at the time the gunman made his move, implying that he wouldn’t have been able to enter the ballroom even if those SS guys hadn’t stopped him.

That's not "picking." Just some plain old truth. We all bemoan fake news, and so we need to stick to the facts. Kudos.
