James Carville says the quiet part out loud
American Thinker ^ | 26 Apr, 2026 | Mike McDaniel

As I’ve often written, Democrats are infernal masters at manipulating language, at making policies and ideas utterly destructive to our constitutional, representative republic, seem benign, even beneficial. To that end, they avoid identifying the true nature of our republic like vampires shun sunlight. Instead, they call America “our democracy,” which our system of government is manifestly not.

SNIP

That will not stop Democrats, and we know because they keep explicitly telling us exactly what they plan to do to us.

Should Carville’s plans come to fruition, Americans will have the choice of submission or civil war, which will ultimately not end as Democrats expect. Even so, no sane person would do anything to provoke, or encourage a second civil war, yet that’s exactly what Democrats are doing. It’s why they’re so desperate to disarm Americans. They know they can’t rule without disarming us, the people they hate and want dead.

Democrat leaders are bomb-throwing racists, antisemites and America haters. They’re finally telling us exactly what they plan to do to us when they seize power, and republican leaders either don’t understand the danger we face or are content to be allowed to keep their perks and manage the rubble allowed them, content to rule in Hell rather than serve in Heaven.

I don’t know that they’ll abolish the filibuster without the White House. They can pass all they want but they won’t get by Trump’s veto and won’t have enough votes to override, so I think they’d be rolling the dice on the outcome of 2028 without any immediate benefit.

That is why Hilary has been squawking about this ever. Once they perfected the steal they would always have the “most” popular votes.

...what Amendment(s) would you want introduced?

Balanced Budget, Term Limits, overhaul of the courts, Requirement to be American Citizen to hold office.

When you say overhaul of courts, what would you like?

I think the worst possible situation is what we have now: Judges magically allowed to practice indefinitely, becoming more corrupt year after year; on the take in all likelihood (otherwise no clear explanation for their outrageous decisions); more clueless and detached from the realities of crime and criminals; growing indifferent and then actually hostile to the fates of victims; fuzzier and more rotten judgments, until they are either sleeping during cases or outright senile or crazy.

It's the rule rather than the exception of judges not strictly term limited.

So for me I would like them to have to run for reelection every four years, maybe fewer.

Also make them much more easily impeached for crazy decisions.

Some personal liability for their decisions leading to the deaths of innocent victims when just keeping someone incarcerated would be the status quo.

If THAT happened, this ridiculous revolving door stuff would stop like yesterday.

50 district Courts, one for each state. Their judgements would only apply to their own state, each state would make make its own set of rules for how long judges serve and how they are selected.
