Those of us who grew up Christian in this country in the 40s, 50s, and 60s used to wonder at the barbarity of “primitive” cultures, and be so thankful to be alive in the United States of America.
Although we pitied them, we also actively avoided or outright snubbed people who were “trashy.” If they got too far out of line, they were scorned, paddled in school, beaten in alleys, jailed or in extreme cases executed. Now, that’s not allowed, because incLOOsion.
