Several dozen ships that were stuck in the gulf are headed for the strait, and many dozens more will follow. Iranian linked ships will no doubt try to mix in with the rush. Our sailors enforcing the blockade are gonna be busy.

IRCG is angry with Iran’s foreign minister Araghchi’s deal announcement, and trying to walk back/dispute a couple elements of the deal. They claim that ships and cargo associated with the US, Israel or other “hostile countries” are still blocked, and that if the US blocks Iran’s ships, the deal is off. So, either the IRGC is bluffing or this will be a very short lived deal. This goes to show that it’s difficult to determine who the hell is in charge over there.
