I missed paying Federal on 4/15 due to illness,
but I’d rather pay a penalty than to daydream
about how the government will give me
some of my money back that
they stole from me,
all year, as a “refund”.
My penalty is about $300
per month.
So I will pay them 5/15.
And request a reduction due to
my illness in the intervening time.
I will pay what I owe.
We ALL should pay taxes to support the
Federal government we supposedly voted for.
Even if it is just $1 from a drunk

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my federal income tax return, direct deposit was already in my local credit union checking account today.
