White House deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller on Tuesday accused the Democrat party of controlling its members through blackmail.
Miller told Fox News host Jesse Watters Tuesday evening that “the real” takeaway from former California Rep. Eric Swalwell’s fall from grace is the Democrats’ blackmail regime.
“Swalwell is a scumbag, he’s a terrible person, the worst of the worst the lowest of the low—the most dishonest,” Miller acknowledged. “The real story here is how the Democrat Party controls its members through blackmail!”
The California Democrat suspended his campaign for governor Sunday and officially resigned from Congress Tuesday amid multiple sexual misconduct allegations, including a former staffer alleging sexual harassment, assault, and rape—claims he denies.
A fifth woman, Lonna Drewes, came forward on Tuesday to publicly accuse Swalwell of drugging, raping, and choking her in a Beverly Hills hotel room in 2018.
Swalwell’s sexual misconduct was an “open secret” in Washington DC and California circles, according to Democrat insiders. Republicans argue that the party only put up with him because he was useful—and by staying in the crowded California governor’s race, making it possible for Republicans to win the primary, he was not being useful to Democrats.
Miller told Watters the Democrat party has “a blackmail file on all of its politicians, and it uses them to leverage and control them until it’s time to release it!”
He added: “That is how sick and twisted the Democrat Party is. That’s the next thread we’ve got to pull out here.”
The House Ethics Committee has launched an investigation and the Manhattan District Attorney is conducting a criminal probe into the sexual assault allegations.
The disgraced congressman also faces a separate federal investigation by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over allegations that he and his wife, Brittany Watts Swalwell, employed a Brazilian nanny without lawful work authorization from January 2023 to February 2025.
Meanwhile, a California District Attorney’s Office told CNN in a statement Saturday it is “evaluating whether any alleged criminal conduct occurred within” Alameda County, where one of the alleged sexual assaults took place in 2019.
A special election to fill his 14th congressional district seat will be held on August 18, 2026, as announced by Governor Gavin Newsom (D.).

And the Democrats were at there top of their game, until Trump came along.
They in a sense blackmailed Carlos Delecto with a lie told by one-eyed Harry Reid in the the pit of the Senate as to have immunity.
Because the stormin' Mormon was a wimp he didn't push back on the lie and ended losing an election that was there for the taking.
Crooked Hillary thought it was game, set, match when the Access Hollywood tape came out.
But Trump was a political animal the likes of which they had never seen nor dealt with.

I couldn’t agree more. It appears that politics attracts the worst of us. The people in Congress are, for the most part, horrible human beings.
And yes, as bad as Republicans are, Democrats find a way to be worse.
This is the case of ALL politicians that end up in Congress/US Senate, elsewhere. This is also the main reason WHY both Dems and GOPe(DEEP STATE)did not want Trump as POTUS. They did not have any dirt on him to control him. SO, they had to make something up and get it to stick by their control of the MSM(the Russia Hoax, rape allegations).
IF we all can recall there was Madison Cawthorn rookie Congressman from NC in a wheel chair. He was invited to swinger parties in DC that he chose NOT to attend.
He was NOT reelected.
I assume this was because the GOPe could NOT get any dirt on him to use as a way to control his vote. Therefore, they made it so he did not get the money needed to win a reelection.
This is how it works in BIG TIME POLITICS.
