It's a shame that I'm gonna miss all that.

I assume that some of this money will fund Gavin Newsom’s presidential campaign. Because why wouldn’t it?

They Olympics already were at risk of losing audience. This isn’t going to help.

Clearly, the CA gov’t is driving the ticket-pricing bus, not the OAC.

I think i can achieve the same thing at home, with a loaf of bread, watching that 1939 flick, ‘At the Circus’.

LA has to pay for all the homeless removal and room and board for this time to keep them away along with the regular drug addicts, needles everywhere, crazy murderers and robbers...that kind of stuff. /s

I see these people have never dealt with Ticket Master before. The kings of fees. 25% is amateur hour compared to TM, they regular double a ticket with fees.

One think I don’t like about Trump is him going along with teh Wall Street Republicans on antitrust enforcement. I’m more populist Teddy Roosevelt on that issue.

It will be interesting comparing the 1984 non-DEI LA Olympics (which was 110% successful, to the point of making a huge profit), with the 2028 DEI-run Olympics, with all of the DEIs trying to get their piece of the action.
Back in 1984, the mayor, who was DEI (and, of course, corrupt as hell), simply got out of the way and let the non-DEI guy run the whole show - and they both came out looking like heroes (lesson for DEIs: Just get out of the way and let competent non-DEIs do the real decision making and you’ll win in the end).
